Great receiver!! Loved that you can connect all your equipment t to the stereo and run one line to the tv. Love that I can run 2 outdoor speakers and 7 indoor speakers odd if it.

I love Onkyo for its simplicity and clear robust sound I am running it with Prestige nano speakers with Definitive sub and it sounds clear all the way through the volume.

Only reason for my purchasing the new one was because my old one was outdated. Onkyo makes an excellent product. The new receiver made my sound and video come alive. Blew me away.

This unit is better than any other I've owned. The setup was easy and anybody can do it. The controls are great and easy to understand. I would definitely buy this unit again.

Have never purchased an Onkyo before. We were replacing a Sanyo. This was the only unit that had all the input/outputs I needed. Easy set up. Works great. Highly recommend.

I researched surround receivers for years and years, I found Onkyo, I read reviews and researched Onkyo. I have been using Onkyo for many of years and they are I would say that they stand up to the best. I upgraded my TX-NR535 5.1 receiver to the TX-NR656 7.1 with multi zone support. This receiver has all I need and want and more. I have my PC hooked up HDMI and using the digital optical audio, My Samsung DVD/BLU RAY thru HDMI and my Verizon DVR connected HDMI all displaying to my new Samsung 65" 4 Ultra K curved tv. This is an awesome receiver also have Zone 2 speakers on my back deck. Loud and Powerful at a great price.

This receiver does everything you want it to do! I love that it has zone control and bluetooth! I've had other Onkyo receivers in the past and they are amazing receivers

great for watching the game inside while listening to zone two witch plays your speakers outside with a wifi signal so you can listen to music from your ipod or phone!

this is a great price! I've seen receiver with less options for more money . It has 2 channels to play different types of music at different locations. Over all great buy!

The specs on this receiver blows others out the water. After searching for the right receiver this one offered much more for the price. Look forward installing soon.

A tad complicated at first, but quite easy after you get used to it. Handles the speakers with ease and sufficient power for most but the largest power hungry speakers.

I have this paired with BIC America tower speakers and pioneer Atmos add-on modules and the sound is fantastic, it really envelopes you in the scenes.

Even though owner's manual seemed straightforward, I never could complete connection of all A/V components without technical help (Geek Squad). Still having problem setting volume of individual speakers even though following menu prompts.

Caught this model on clearance recently, and have a nice beginning Dolby Atmos set-up in my den now, with overhead speakers. Bluetooth, wi-fi and more included.

This is a great receiver. The capabilities are endless! Love being able to stream from my phone right to my home system and the surround sound is AWESOME!

For the price, this system is simply amazing. Great sound, and lots of really nice advanced technology. I've hooked up my 7.1 speakers and they sound really good.

So far so good with no problems very happy with the receiver I did the firmware update everything works fine this receiver sounds awesome with my klipsch speakers

Onkyo comes through again! (TX-NR656) This receiver has good features and is the same quality that I expect from Onkyo through the years. It has 7 HDMI inputs and 2 HDMI output connections. Internet connections to stream music and can connect wirelessly to a phone or pad. Separate subwoofer connections. It also has the capability to play music in a different room from where the receiver is located. My first Onkyo receiver I bought was in 1983 and it still works today. This new receiver has many more features than my first one. I would definitely recommend this to anyone!

This is my second unit after the first one broke. I love the technology of Bluetooth added to it. At least this one is catching up with the trend.
