First, there was price drop on this item that made the decision to buy very easy. I had been planning to purchase it at some point as the reviews were good and we wanted a CD player that could give us longer run time versus swapping out discs on a single disc player. Its pretty simple to operate with or without the remote, the sound is good for the variety of musical genres in our collection, and we look forward to years of enjoyment

It does what it is supposed to do; I'm very happy with it. It's a bit slow pulling up the next CD, but that's very minor. The sound is very good. My previous CD changer allowed me to adjust the volume via the remote using the audio out control, but this doesn't have that, neither in the remote nor the charger itself. I do miss that feature. The control buttons are rather small.

This CD changer was bought to match the new Onkyo receiver I purchased through best buy as well. Like the receiver this CD player isn't really exciting to look at but easy to use with buttons that felt like this was a quality product. So far I'm very happy with it.

I really like to mix it up and listen to different songs on different CD's to always keep it fresh. It's easy to use and the directions were great (much to my surprise) and it was very easy to hook up. We ordered it in store and had it delivered UPS, which didn't work out to well. We weren't home when the package arrived and there was an ice storm so they dropped it off at a local merchant drop stop. They apparently didn't handle it to well and when we hooked it up, the turntable drawer would not open (I saw the lady at the drop location tossing packages all over the place and placing heavy packages on lighter ones, Duh!). We took it back to our local Best Buy and it less than 5 minutes they gave us a new one. After getting home we had it hooked up in less than 10 minutes and listening to Adele! Love it and it compliments our Onkyo receiver and turntable. Love it!

It was easy to set up. I like that it holds 6 cds.

Our previous Onkyo 6 CD player lasted 14 years with a lot of use. When it stopped working, I took it to a repair shop but they were unable to fix it. I was pleased to see that the product was still available and ordered it. When it was installed, unfortunately the 14 y.o. Onkyo receiver was found to be non-functioning. I will try to get that repaired before attempting to order a new one. We like CDs better than most other forms of music, except vinyl.

Ease of use...easy to learn controls...reasonable price...what more do you need?

I am very happy with the cd player. It works well and it look good with my Yamaha black receiver stereo. The functionality is good but definitely not intuitive. It is taking me some time to learn how it works. I am not good at reading instructions. The unit is priced well and very worth the price. It holds 6 cds which is a great feature.

hooked it up earlier today, on disc 5, had 1 about 2 months ago, sounded like crap, had it for a few weeks, changed audio cables, changed speakers, changed eq settings, nothing helped, we weren't going to get another 1 but we figured, at this low price, plus the geek warranty, so,,, this 1 is sounding spectacular, i have an onkyo c-7030 that's just over 8 years old, i love it, but i'm getting tired of having to get up and change cds, hopefully this 1 lasts at least 5 years,,

i had been looking for a quality CD Changer for some time and after looking thru couple of options online i finally decided to get the Onkyo 6 disc changer from Best Buy when it went on sale for 129.99 it was a price hard to beat for a name brand product. Sound quality, construction is flawless on this model so far it has been working without any problems. i am happy with this changer and it's a good addition to my system.

I enjoy listening to my Onkyo - 6-Disc CD Player - Black (Model:DX-C390). During my recent move my old one was damaged. I had a plethora of CDs that I've had for years. This unit is fantastic.

Easy to connect and works great with my system. So far have not experienced any issues.

I bought this because it has the fiber optic out. I was looking for the best sound possible, it has amazing sound. My old cd player does not have fiber optic out. The sound is much cleaner and it seems to have more bass. In fact I turned the treble down 2 db. Don't be afraid to purchase this you will love the difference.

Just what we wanted, and the price reduction was an added bonus. We saw this item on a list of top 10 cd players. We were able to order it and have it shipped to our home. Our old player was 5-Disc and this is 6.
