These Onkyo Atmos speakers are a good value but, unfortunately, I had to return them because my receiver is a 7.2 channel system and I would have to lose my rear surrounds to utilize these and I did not want to do that.

This is it. Needed atmos speakers to add to the system without pulling wires through the ceiling. Works fine. Not sure how much better would be to have built in ones. For the money it's great product.

The sound coming out of these speakers is clear. They are used as front height.

I was wanting to try the new Atmos speaker, this adds a lot of height even though the new technology isn't available yet in a lot of things.

A decent way to start Dolby Atmos, but definitely no substitute for overhead speakers.

These are great sounding speakers and the price is awesome. Mount 2-3 feet lower than ceiling.

These speakers are amazing! Just make sure you have a flat ceiling and a receiver that supports Atmos / DTS-x

Hook up to my onkyo tx-nr636 they are sound great.

Works great with older speakers and has very good sound for Atmos

Speakers don't reflect sound of ceilings st all, wound up mounting them on ceiling, and pointed them down, instead of using them as "upfiring" atmos add ons.

These speakers are average. I have to turn them on full blast to kind of hear the "Atoms" bouncing of the ceiling. You get what you pay for here.

These things are full range, but the sound is pretty flat. I guess it doesn't matter too much if you are using them as add on atmos speakers

If you have 7.1 don’t bother If you can’t mount above head don’t bother No better than any other speaker

Before mounting ceiling speakers and dropping a bundle I decided to give these little speakers a try and I'm glad I did. They sound great and do just what they're supposed to, throw sound up and let it zing around overhead. Don't think I'll be looking for a replacement anytime soon.

I recently purchased the Onkyo TX-NR646 A/V receiver and these speakers are a great addition to my system. It was a bonus that I was able to get them for a great price.
