I bought this reciever to replace a Sony receiver that I purchased in march... I dont know what has happened to Sony but I was very dissatisfied with that reciever..bought this onkyo reciever and I am much happier..to bad I'm out the 350.00 I payed for the sony... you live and learn I guess

replaced a samsung unit that i had. this one works great and i also am very happy with the features and the mic used for setup makes it a breeze to configure

I specifically bought this because it had a zone 2 for my kitchen speakers. I found the setup for zone 2 difficult. I spoke to tech support 3 times before I got it to work. I admit I am old school and the new tech is confusing to me. I sold stereo equipment back in the day. I will also say that tech support was excellent. The fact that it took 3 calls is more my problem. I thought about geek squad for set up but I'd rather get a little frustrated than spend the money for geek squad. I love that it has phono jacks. Nice to hear my records again.

I've owned this a while and love the sound it produces. It is a good buy for someone looking for a reasonably priced system.

This unit was priced very well and had most of the features that the higher priced ones did. Easy to get online and set up. Would buy again.

Wow. What a great find! Very wasy to setup for surround sound. Works great. It is on the bigger side, but no complaints from me! The sound is awesom!

Excellent price for features. Sounds great with Sony speakers (3.1 configuration). Also very easy to set up and adjust. CDs sound amazing.

This receiver was a terrific price, and I had been looking to replace an old one that was starting to show its age. It was very easy to swap my existing wires into the back of the receiver and then follow on-screen instructions to rename some of the inputs. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Onkyo & Pioneer now being one and my prior receiver being and older Pioneer 7.1 1155 watt, well having a sound bar i missed the qaulity sound. This with 2.2 hdmi, internet radio, wow. Im liking it. learned my TV remote fast. When i change from music (all channel sterio) to a tv program, it automatically switches itself to TV LOGIC, my prefered setting.
