Great sounding system

Great System great value

High quality receiver

It makes your speakers sound great

Zone 2 doesn’t recognize HDMI. So if you want to use zone 2 you have to run an RCA cable from the device as well. If the device you want to use doesn’t have HDMI and RCA you can’t use it in zone 2.

Better than my last THX Onkyo
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace an 8 year old THX Onkyo that didn't have an ARC HDMI. The new Onkyo sounds better, was easier to setup and the Bluetooth is awesome.

Great Sound - but hard to power off

We turn off the TV and both TV & receiver turn off, but then 2 min later, we come back in the room and everything is on again. I turn of the TV & receiver manually (no remote), then the TV goes on again or the receiver goes on again. Eventually, they all stay off, but there's no standard way it happens and it takes forever. Now that we've had it for 5 months, the "BLUETOOTH" and "NET" channels (which is how we've been listening to music and radio for the whole house) now just shows a BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH on the TV. The display panel is blank, miniscule and shows no useful info at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
