THE SOUND IS FANTASTIC using xlr cables. Dolby atmos, WoW!. thats all i can say. The bass is full and the highs are excellent. My 2 front speakers are bi-amp. you can hear every drop in any movie and the picture clarity is awesome. What can i say? This is far the best combo power amp and preamp I had. Its worth the price you will love this pair for a very longtime. I had av receiver before but i didnt realize that having separates would mean more benefits than an ordinary av receiver. I will stick to this for now cuz im really loving it. All calibration Accueq is fantastic. I can hear all the speakers doing their job. Onkyo you did it again.. thank you...

Brand New Receiver and Doesn't Work

I recently bought this receiver. HDMI went out so it doesn't work. Only 2 months old and they won't pay for the shipping to get it fixed. Also, they should send me a new one and I should be able to send it back but they tell me that's not how the warranty works. This is a faulty product and I wouldn't buy it if I were you. You may want to not buy any Onkyo product since they don't really support it if it breaks. I don't recommend buying this Onkyo receiver or any Onkyo branded device since they don't really support it.
