I am enjoying my Onkyo A/V Receiver. I've had it hooked up for a few weeks now and enjoy it more each day. I hooked it up to have 5.1 surround with Klipsch speakers. It was easy to hook up and provides excellent sound. I also found out there is an app you can download to your smartphone and have loved the convenience of turning it on from the other room. Excellent product that I would recommend!

Able to hook up all our components to one unit is such a time saver. One remote controls the radio tv PlayStation and more. So nice to have it consolidated.

I really like all the features but it's a little difficult to setup. I'm just amazed that the speaker connections on the back still use the same connectors as the receiver I had back in 1980...not sure why that is? Really difficult to make the connections. I would have thought some sort of quick connect, even like the ones on the back of a speaker, would be in use. The Zone 2 feature has surprised me with being on when I didn't expect it to. And the bluetooth has mysteriously switched to my spouse's phone when she walks into the room before. But I am still a fairly new user of the product and am hoping that I come to a better understanding of these two things soon.

I really missed my component stereo system. Nothing beats being able to pick the pieces you want. This was a replacement for my old Onkyo component system circa early 80s. Lets you connect via WiFi or BT, gets great FM reception (yes, some of us like the old ways), and allows connection of up to 6 HDMI devices. Features include on screen display, firmware updates, Airplay & Googlecast support, auto calibration microphone, and universal remote.

My 5.1 channel 10+ year old technics receiver was acting up, so was in the market for a new receiver. Found this at a reasonable price. Did not know anything about 7.2 channel, but hey, might as well try. At first I just connected the old 5.1 channel speakers, sound is awesome, way better than my old receiver. Surround sound is distinct and very audible. I wanted to try the 7.2 channel since I had 2 extra Bose speakers. That really kicked it up a huge notch. The side speakers rock!!! Experience is movie like, even better. Music sound is crisp, even if I do not have a powered sub woofer, the old Bose subs were just fine, better than the old receiver. I'm a happy camper. Wished my technical broke sooner, have been missing out on some quality theater sound system.

This receiver is perfect for the price! I had a pioneer elite before this one and the Onkyo is by far superior!!! Very powerful and loud! I’m running a full 7.2 Polk audio system on it and it will rattle my walls and windows! If this one goes out I will definitely get another one!

System works great. Sound quality is good. Remote works well. Direct tv remote does not seem to be able to work volume though.

This receiver is a very fine unit which is well engineered from a usability and user interface aspect. For such an advanced unit it has a remarkably simple and intuitive remote control. The setup was easier than most similar units I have had. The package included a microphone and jack for it which automatically adjusted the speakers for volume and equalization keyed to the location one put the microphone (nice long cord!) This produces optimal adjustment for the particular room one is using it in My one complaint is that the receiver did not have an audio output on the unit so that one might send this signal to a streaming device or other amplifier.

Matched an Onkyo CD player and used Bose 901 speakers for great sound.

Love the features, easy to use and now I can listen to my vinyl again!

Bought this to replace stereo receiver after buying new TV. Easy setup, exceĺlent sound, it does the job well. I have had Onkyo previously, expect this receiver to perform well for a long time.

I love this receiver! It has Bluetooth and can be controlled with the app. It also has a phone input for my turntable and the sound is great! Definitely a great value for the money!

My old Onyko died! Went online and found this Onyko to replace it. This one has WiFi which was a big plus. The price was a bargain. It took minutes to set it up. Great sound.

This unit replaced my old outdated Yamaha receiver. I recently purchased a 70” 4k tv and also a PS4 PRO, so I needed to get a new receiver so I could get the full use out of my 4k devices. As soon as I got it out of the box I could tell it was going to be better than my Yamaha. It was almost double the size and much heavier. Installation was easy and straight forward. I recently just bought a pair of Klipsch tower and book shelve speakers, and didn’t know how much I was missing. This receiver really brought my new speakers to life. I love all the features it came with, makes life much easier.

We were looking for a receiver that could do surround sound, and 3 zone Home audio. Their sales people helped me pick out exactly what we needed. We will need one more a/v receiver before 11/2 and I’m sure I will be heading back to the Briar Creek store real soon.
