Dead Pixels after 2 years of use

Developed multiple dead pixels after 2 years of regular use, BB warranty helped here as this was a non-repairable issue.
Optoma UI could use some work, input switching takes forever. Start up and shutdown times are fast at least and it does have low input lag.

Replaced an older 5000 lumen optoma 1080p projector, and this thing appears considerably brighter thanks to its laser light source and lumen output. lamps in traditional pjs lose half their light output once they hit their life expectancy. This will take 20 years to occur for this laser if you watch 4-5 hours per day. The contrast for this dlp is very good. It cannot compete with lcd contrast, but its very satisfactory. This is coming from a guy who loves the contrast on his oled tv. The colors pop, and its great to be able to use for 3d using dlp link glasses, it looks incredible and with good brightness even with dark 3d movies.

Works beautifully. We are so happy with the clarity and color. It is much better than a tv and it is supposed to last for years...no bulbs to burn out. Yipee.

I recently purchased a PS5, and I wanted a projector that could handle the gaming. This one did not disappoint. Bright, clear, and great 4K images.

I ordered a new projector received a open box missing remote and power cord. If i were to receive a new one i would give 5 stars. Paying full price and receiving this is frustrating. I should be credited back new price and charged for open box. Also paidvfor expedited shipping and received almost a month later.

Not sure what the last guy was talking about cause i went through the manual and it states it IS 4K. It even upscales 1080p up to 4K. This thing has it all. Bright, fast and everythking you can ask for!

something seems not right here

Something seems not right here. This is supposed to be a 4K projector but the company's user's guide specification sections says:
Technology Texas Instrument DMD, 0.47”/1080p UHD HSSI DMD X1, S451
Output resolution 1920 x 1080 (w/o actuator)
...which looks like HD, not 4K.
So which is it?
