I had never used an electric toothbrush prior to this one. I had no idea what to expect, but there is definitely a learning curve! My first few brushes looked like I exploded a tube of toothpaste on my mirror and I even managed to get it in my hair and on my clothes - that’s how powerful this is. But, my teeth have NEVER felt cleaner! I can reach the difficult places in the back of my mouth to make sure they get thoroughly cleaned. The pressure sensor is so awesome, I haven’t had any gum bleeding thanks to the reminder not to brush too hard. The app that comes with it is so useful too. It tracks your progress, tells you the areas you missed, let’s you set up custom settings and even has challenges. I have gotten the hang of how to contain the mess now, and I really look forward to watching my progress as I use this brush more and more. Definitely recommend, especially if you are considering this as your first electric toothbrush. Super user friendly and gets the job done so well!

This is the best toothbrush I have ever tried. 5 smart modes, Daily Clean, Sensitive, Whiten, Gum Care and Intense. Bluetooth connectable with a smart phone and the Oral-B iO app. The app is used to assess your brushing behaviors in your mouth, not a real selling feature for me so I don't use the app. The actual unit is a little large and has taken a bit to get used to the size. The 2 minute timer pulsates every 30 seconds ensuring you have done a complete cleaning. Comes with a travel case 2 brushes and a charging stand. Overall a well done job by Oral-B, a quality product.

I have never used an electric toothbrush before and figured it was finally time to hop aboard that train. My dentist has been telling me for years to get one and I went with the Oral-B iO series. I am a big fan of tech and AI and when I saw this toothbrush blends both together for a flawless brushing experience, I had to try. PROS: - Easy to set up and pair to your phone. Takes minutes to set up and had no issues. - Multiple cleaning modes: I like that you can switch it up from sensitive when your gums may be more sensitive that day, to regular clean, to a whitening mode and then one for your gums. - It tells you with a vibration to move on to the next area of your mouth. NOTE: This feature for some reason does NOT work when using a guided brushing via the Oral-B app which bugs me like crazy., more in CONS. - It gives you great feedback on your brushing habits. This is definitely the money maker here, when you use the guided brush via the app, it will show you in real time what teeth/area of your mouth you missed and need to work on and tell you if you are brushing too hard and if for not enough time. It also works as a great motivator to keep up on dental hygiene. CONS: - The vibration to move on to the next segment of your mouth is disabled with the guided brush via the app. This is annoying because sometimes I rely on that to move on to the next area instead of staring at my phone. - You HAVE to have the app open and sync it to the brush in order to get the most out of the toothbrush. This can be cumbersome for most people to always have your phone out and open and paired to your brush when you just want to brush your teeth. Now, you can brush without it, but you do not get the detail/insights you would if you had the app opened for a guided brush. I wish there was a way for me not to have the app open but get the same feedback by looking later. All you get is the overpressure data when not using the app. All in all, this is a great brush and I am sure they can edit the features with some firmware/app updates in the future. This thing will last many years and will definitely help anyone with having a great smile and healthy teeth.

I've always wanted a Oral-B toothbrush, and was extremely happy when I got one for the first time. So I'm glad that the toothbrush had a 50% charge out the box, after reading the directions, I learned about the app and downloaded that and connect it to my toothbrush. I thought that was pretty cool. Then I was able to set the brush to my preferred settings which was intense and got to select my color (I really wanted purple, but it doesn't come with this model) which was orange. I started to use my toothbrush at the same time I was using the app, almost felt like a video game as I try to clear all the spots in my mouth to win. I love how when you press too hard, the color changes red as soon as you ease up, it changes back green. My first time using it I got 100% score! You can see on the app as you clean your teeth in real time, and when the teeth on the app gets really bright then you can move on to the other parts of your mouth. If you use the app every time you brush your teeth, you are going to have a much better experience because you're trying to keep up with the app. I would definitely recommend this for a friend!

Oral-B - iO Series 7 Connected Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush - Onyx Black This attractive package contains the rechargeable electric toothbrush base, two replaceable brushes, the charging cable and base, a travel case which holds the base and two brushes (nice for couples) and instructions on getting started. The first thing you want to do after reading the instructions is to plug it in and charge the unit. A full charge requires about three hours, but the toothbrush is usable after about 30 minutes. And you can leave the toothbrush on the charging unit when not in use without worrying about it because the unit prevents a battery overcharge. While the unit is charging, you’re instructed to download the Oral-B app for either your Apple or Android device. Once installed, you fire up the app, set up an account and follow the directions to easily connect your toothbrush to your phone or other device via Bluetooth. Once connected, the app lets you know that “AI Brushing Recognition tracks your progress and helps guide you in real-time to your best clean.” Sounds good to me! The app then instructs you to start brushing. It’s recommended that you brush each of your mouth’s four quadrants for 30 seconds. A timer alerts you when your 30 seconds is up and then it’s time to move on to the next quadrant. You also get a notification when your two-minute total recommended time is up, and all four quadrants have been brushed. There are different color lights that indicate the various pressure settings. If you’re pressing too hard or not hard enough, the color will change to let you know. You want to keep the pressure color steady at your desired setting. I've had a spotty track record for a) remembering to brush my teeth and b) actually brushing properly. This toothbrush solves both of those with it's smartphone integration via Bluetooth which include not only reminders but what I call a fun brushing game. In the brushing game your job is to figure out how to brush the back of your teeth without triggering the pressure sensitive light on this thing, and also not showering your mirror and vanity with toothpaste all while watching your smartphone to confirm if you're actually spending enough time on each area of your teeth. If you win this game, your bathroom stays clean and you get a fancy white animation bubble in the app. It's great! The Apple Health integration is also a bonus, given that a bunch of my other devices all send data to Apple Health, so having one more data point is excellent. Of note is that the brush heads do not have a plastic cover fso they are sitting exposed to the air in your bathroom all the time unless you pack the toothbrush in the carrying case after each use. Speaking of the travel case it's great. Pre-covid I was on the road most weeks and having a hard shell case to pack the brush in a way that won't power it on mid TSA security check is a great thing. My dentist and I are both looking forward to the positive results this toothbrush will hep me achieve toward a whiter smile.

Every single use makes me feel I've walked out the dentist office from my 6 month cleaning. I love everything about this toothbrush from the ability to change the colors to choosing my particular type of cleaning. I'm currently using whitening and just daily cleaning. It's very easy to use along with the app that let's you know if/when you're applying too much pressure. It does get slightly messy from spinning so my only suggestion is watch where you put your phone.

Electric toothbrushes have definitely come a long way in the last few years. Having owned oral b electric tooth brushes in the past I thought that a connected toothbrush was nothing more than a gimmick however I can say that I was definitely wrong. The toothbrush itself is constructed very well and sits on a magnetic base which in my opinion is far nicer than the charging docks of the past. THE toothbrush includes a travel case and 2 replacement heads. The initial setup of the toothbrush is fairly easy and does not require downloading the app. The little display on the brush is pretty intuitive and allows you to see what mode you are in (daily clean, sensitive, whiten, gum care and intense). The screen also shows you a timer and gives you feedback based on how long you brush. The brush has light ring that you can adjust in the settings and also functions as a pressure indicator to show you if your are pressing too hard while brushing.(the green light ring will turn red if you are applying too much pressure). Downloading the app further unlocks more data on your brushing technique that will help you become more efficient while brushing. You can also set ta brush head replacement reminder in the app which takes the guesswork out of replacing the heads. My teeth definitely feel extremely clean after brush with this brush. I even compared this brush with my previous oral b and Sonicare toothbrushes and the way your teeth feel is not even close. Oral B hit a home run with this tooth brush and I am sure you will not be disappointed if you buy this brush

The Oral-B iO Seriest 7 is an excellent hygiene tool to help build better habits. Right from the box you are prompted to download the new Oral-B app. While it's not required to use it, I suggest it because it had a guided mode to ensure you spend the perfect amount of time brushing each part of your mouth. There are different modes like Daily Clean, Deep Clean and Whitening that have you try different techniques to achieve certain dental goals.. I personally love the "teeth whitening" challenge that helps you track how white your teeth get over the course of 14 days o daily use. As for the toothbrush itself, its definitely make for adults, not for children. Its about the same size as most adult tooth brushes. The magnetic battery charger is a fantastic design so your already charged every time you go to use the brush. If you travel a lot, you may want to make sure you get the kit that comes with the traveling charging case. Out of the box, you get 2 brush heads that you can use for yourself or share with a family member. (you even get to set your own color LED lights) Overall, what makes this toothbrush great is the phone app that really gives you insight to your dental hygiene habits. I am generally excited to interact with the guided brushing and I haven't missed a cleaning since I started using it.

While there may be some bells and whistles on this thing that are a little extra, I'm a fan! I like that there's a goal, of 2 min of brushing, so that my competitive nature can take over and make the chore of brushing just a little easier to get the most of. As it turns out, maybe not surprisingly, I wasn't exactly making a full 2 minutes of every cleaning session before I got this brush and the first couple of times felt like an eternity (although my teeth felt amazing afterwards). I feel like now that I've gotten into a healthy rhythm, reaching the 2 min mark is pretty simple and I think my dentist will be a big fan of the care that I'm now taking. I want to make a note on the battery life, as well, as right after I got this toothbrush, my family was set to take a five day pandemic trip to my in-laws. I was excited to use my new toothbrush but not as excited about needing to recharge it. Needless to say, I charged it fully and packed the charger, but after five days of brushing twice a day I never needed a recharge until we got home. That's super helpful for traveling!

This is my first smart/electric tooth brush. I was reading about how an electric would be good for sensitive gums, which I've always had an issue with. So I took the chance and got OralB's new IO series. This toothbrush is pretty neat and looks sleek. The design and mechanics of it took me a minute to figure out but once I got it down its all easy to adjust. It has multiple settings for your desired brushing/cleaning needs and comes with 2 TotalClean heads. The app is really helpful with tracking your brushing habits and tracks overall usage to ensure that you are up to date with replacement heads, as well as programing it to set cleaning modes. Overall, my usage since I've gotten it has been great I like knowing more about my brushing and oral hygiene habits and feel like I'm getting a better clean than when I was using my old manual brush. Its definitely worth it and I would recommend it to anyine that has special oral sensitivity or just wants a better clean when brushing their teeth.

This toothbrush looks and feels great. It’s heavier then my previous one and I like that feel. The matte black color is cool as well. The functionality is nice, and I have been using the whitening mode on intense. On the cycle, it beeps every 30 sec letting you know to move zones. If you stop short of 2 min, it will frown on you. During the cycle, it rotates colors and I hope there is a way to turn that off. The heads are round and I love the way this cleaned my teeth. They feel amazing after, and I had another brand before that was similar in cost and this feels better. One thing I don’t like is the airflow through the head. It’s like breathing in air while trying to brush my teeth and it’s messy. I’ve never experienced anything like that but I’ll deal with it for the great job it does cleaning.

I dont usually use an electric toothbrush but I do own one from Amazon. I use it about once a week. However, I am converted after using this toothbrush. It came about half way charged with two heads that easily pop on and off. The head does not spin, only vibrates. The vibration on daily clean is intense, to state it mildly. I was shocked but quickly adjusted to it. The ring around the middle of the unit just above the small LCD screen tells you with colors on the right amount of pressure to use. It is very easy to see, even without using a mirror. I have not used the other modes nor have I tried the app (I did download it but have not found it useful). My teeth definitely feel cleaner and I am very impressed with this Oral B.

This is the most futuristic toothbrush I have ever used!   It is a similar experience to using another well-known brand, although not as harsh-feeling. The overall sense and feel of my teeth being cleaned properly is spot on. Using the app is cool, allbeit not necessary.  It does help you map your brushing process and recommends where you might want to spend a little more time the next time you brush.  There are multiple modes or speeds to adjust cleaning intensity depending upon your needs.  Vigorous and Strong for deep cleaning and whitening to Gentle/Soft for gum care and sensitive teeth.   One of the coolest features of this brush is the pressure sensitivity.  It has an LED light that shines green with proper pressure, blue when you aren’t applying enough pressure, and red when you push too hard.  This allows you to maintain pressure against your teeth so the bristles are most effective.   My teeth now have that post-dentist clean feel to them after using this brush.  I can imagine using this brush for a long time.

I've always purchased Sonicare toothbrush products. When this one was available I jumped on it. The toothbrush head is a little big but it does a really good job. The bluetooth functionality is a really nice feature, as you'll get a better idea of better ways to brush (yup its 2020 and that's a thing). The app is really helpful, however, the brush also has an LED that will light up red if you're brushing too hard, yellow if not hard enough and green is good. It reminds me of a belt sander I own that tells you if you're pushing down on the sander too hard. The brush itself also has an LCD screen that starts a timer when you turn on the unit. It's a great feature as you're supposed to brush for 2 minutes. This has been really helpful, especially helpful for kids as well. There are 5 brush settings as well. I've been using Intense Clean and Whiten. Compared to my sonicare, my teeth do feel smoother and cleaner throughout the day. There's also a sensitive teeth setting that is nice as well. Gum Care and Daily Clean are the other settings, I haven't used them too much though. The base for the toothbrush is one thing I have a criticism on, it's very easy to knock the brush off. Seems to be held by a magnet, it seems to get the job done. Overall I'm really happy with this product, however replacement brush heads are expensive on these but I guess that's the cost of having really nice toothbrush.

I have had Oral-B brushes for a number of years. This iO update is very welcomed. The unboxing of this updated version feels very like a cell phone unboxing. With a wireless charger and carrying case, it has the trappings of one! The black color is very cool and the ability to adjust your personal color on the collar is very very cool. The screen is a simple design that works fantastically. The bluetooth connection is pretty much flawless on my Galaxy device. The brushing has a series of different settings like the older models and also has the buzzing notification to change positions in brushing. The only thing that this brush does not do is do an auto-shut off at the end of the cycle. Not a deal breaker, but users not used to the Oral-B line just has to be aware. The brush is a value added kit and has a great updated look and is very welcomed. It's just not your normal white anymore.

The Oral- B i0 Series 7 is sleek and stylish in its design. This toothbrush cleaned my teeth really well. I found myself brushing my teeth a little more with the assistance of the Oral B App and its Bluetooth/AI Technology. The App's 3-D tracking encouraged me to brush my teeth better by tracking how I use the Oral B toothbrush in real-time. The Oral B toothbrush's electric motor is smooth and quiet. The Oral- B i0 Series 7 charging power adapter could have been designed to fit inside the travel case. Or it could have been designed so that it can be charged with just a USB adaptor.

Helps you brush those teeth correctly. Let's see what the dental hygienist tells me at the next visit...

Great toothbrush, only compliant is it went out after only having for 2 years.

I love the feel of my teeth after I brush them. The ease of the magnetic charger and the small size is an added bonus. The sensor that lets you know you are applying to much pressure is helpful for making sure the gums are healthy. It was very easy to connect to bluetooth with the app.
