I noticed in just a short time that this battery didn't last as long as my other oral b toothbrush. In less then 6 mos I emailed the company and they wanted me to call some tech center etc. now 9 mos into this and its dead and won't charge. I have owned other oral b toothbrushes before and I liked them but this one is awful

My wife and I both previously owned the original 5000 series from OralB. My wife switched about 6 years ago and never looked back. She convinced me to switch as well. Brushing has never been the same! When her 5000 finally died over the summer, I jumped online to get a replacement... only to find out the model has new bells and whistles. Same great brush, same great heads, but with modern features like an app to go with it. Is it needed? Absolutely not. Is it a fun bonus? Absolutely :)

I'd been considering an electric toothbrush for a while and decideded it was time when I saw this reduced $50 as the 5500 models were coming out. One thing I wasn't sure about was the weight but it's well balanced and easy to hold at all angles. I haven't tried any of the Bluetooth features yet and don't know if I wiill, but I do like the red light that indicates you're applying too much pressure. You also get a vibration signal to move on to the next area, basically dividing your mouth into four zones so you spend equal/adequate time in all areas. I've used it for a full week after a full charge without having to recharge and its advertised to go 10 days so it should travel well for most people without having to bring the charging base and it also comes with a nice plastic travel case. Finally I like that the charging base isn't attached to the brush head storage allowing you to reduce some clutter on the bathroom counter if you'd,like by keeping the brush case in a drawer or medicine cabinet.

Works wonderful, takes the boring part out of brushing your teeth everyday. Easy to use. App is easy to use to track and setup
