Brilliant learning device for inquisitive teens
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Sprk for my son who is 13 and in a robotics club at school. I thought the ability to use a programing language coupled with the Sprk's internal tech would allow him to grow his understanding of electronics and computers. This thing is so cool, he can have it zipping around the house on a program he created from his iPod. He can also go freestyle, and drive it from the iPod as well. The sensors inside give him the ability to use directional gyros and accelerometers to build complex programs and increase his learning. This spark is a zippy little beast, and I am so glad we picked it up. The one CON I see is it really slows down on carpeted floors, It loves hard surfaces. I use the online ordering, they emailed me when it was available for pickup, 45 minutes later. I went in and picked it up and was out in 20 minutes, How cool is that?

Great Learning Toy

Great way to spark interest in learning to code and being able to see the results immediately.
