It works! It heats water. Have to press with some force to close lid. Weird that cord comes out in front. But it heats water fast!

This is a good corded tea pot. I thought I had read in the description it was metal, but the body is plastic. It heats up the water very quickly. It seems louder then tea kettles that sit on the stove, but that's kind of a nit. We use this almost every day since we got it. We don't drink tea so I can't rate how well the strainer in the spout works. (We use it to heat water for instant hot chocolate or cider.)

Reliable. A little slower than I'd like. It takes 7 min to boil 1.7L of water. The lid sticks a little when you lift it up to add water to the kettle. Good price. I hope it lasts longer than the old kettle I purchased at Aldi. That one lasted 2 years.

I had a 10 dollar certificate and I needed one of these things, it was the only one they had so I picked it up for 15-10=5. STEAL if you only have a 5 dollar cert, its still only 10 bucks and yea its the cheapest quality ive seen but at least it does the job and has a 1year warranty just in case. you cant lose!

When the water is boiling the "old lady" starts to wobble. We can even hear the sound from another room. And one day it finally stopped working. So it's time for an update. We went to BestBuy.com and this black kettle first caught our eyes. After some research and comparison, we decided to buy this one. After using it for almost 2 months, man I have to say "this guy is strong!" Both me and my wife like our new kettle very much. It boils very fast and stays sturdy. It's also very nice to look at and very comfortable to hold in the hand. For the price, this is definitely a 5 star product!

It is cheap and does the job. The base could have been designed better; a little heavier so that it would stay on the counter instead of lifting with the kettle.

If you are a tea lover you will love this kettle. It’s a space saver and the water boils really quick. I love the convenience of this kettle, you could even take it to the office.

Works very well, only trouble I've had is the switch sometimes flicks back off when I turn it on. Boils relatively quickly, and turns itself off, so it's exactly what I needed.

This is great fo heating water quickly for tea, hot chocolate or instant coffee or soup. I really like that it shuts itself off automatically.
