The stainless blades are nice. It really grinds fast and crushes ice easily. It is great for making fruit shakes and smoothies for my kids and friends because its easy to use and fast. I enjoyed using it. The price is good too. Though I like a glass type blender, this one is a bit heavy.

I love the fact that the canning jars fit on the blender so that I can make a smoothie and then put the jar in the dishwasher. I even bought an extra blender blade.

I got the blender awhile ago as part of an online BB deal. The shipping was fast, and the product is fairly easy to assemble. I was able to make smoothie shortly after assembly. I do recommend that you wash it down and clean it right after usage, as it is the best way to keep the blender under low maintenance (So you don't need to scrub excessively). This is actually my first blender, so I don't have another one to compare the product to. But as a first timer, I would recommend this product to anyone. It is a great buy for the cost I paid for (around $20-ish)

I purchased this item from Best Buy as a deal of the day, for a small amount, $20 including free shipping.. It was a tremendous bargain for what I received, a great blender with a solid metal base at the blades instead of plastic, and a machine that effortlessly tears through whatever I throw at it. I am definitely happy with the blender, and even more so that it was available at a discount when I purchased it.

Once the food is cut into ~0.5 inch chunks, it crush them in seconds. Very easy to clean afterwards, too. However it does not cut large food pieces well, so make sure cut your food first. Also it can does not work with ice: traps air between blades and ice without cutting the ice. In all, very nice machine for the price.

While the blender was a great price, it is a very noisey machine with alot of shaking and moving while in use. MUST keep your hand on top to keep it from bouncing off countertop.

not used this oster blender yet .but i have good look with this brand before i have a bread maker machine .same brand oster .any way very good price for this Oster Blender.

Best Blender I have ever used.the wife can blend smoothies in half the time. Best bang for the buck.

This blender is quite powerful and was able to make my smoothie without ice chunks fast!

My mother has a 3 speed Osterizer from around 1961 that is still going strong, so when I needed to buy a blender naturally I went with the same brand. It is solid, has more than enough speeds, and the glass pitcher means I don't have to worry about BPA and other plastic chemical nonsense. This one was on clearance for an amazing $20, which was cheaper than the lesser models!

If u're looking for a good quality, inexpensive blender, u won't go wrong with this Oster. But if you're looking for something more substantial that will do good kitchen duty, consider stepping up into a higher quality blender.

I had been in need of a blender ever since my other one (which was very old) died on me about a month or two ago...saw this one on the Deal of the Day and snatched it up! I absolutely love it! I make fruit and yogurt smoothies in no time now!

So far so good - the entire unit is machine washable and has been fine in there so far. EASY cleanup. The blender is simple and works well. However, only time will tell if it lasts. I'm happy, and at $20 for a refurb what's not to like?
