I just started making smoothies and bought this for two reasons - not having to clean large blender jar and for the ice crushing blade. I love that I can make my smoothie and drink from the same container. Also the ice crushing blade has given my 42 year old Oster blender a new lease on life! Oh, and the price was right also!

I had been considering buying a smoothie maker when I stumbled onto this item. I thought, why should I spend a bunch of money on a smoothie maker when I have a perfectly good blender and this attachment would make it a single-serve smoothie maker, as well. I'm glad I went this direction. It was an inexpensive way to get into smoothie making and I have had no problems with the product blending all my ingredients into a nice smooth fruit/vegetable treat. Occasionally I have a small ice cube left at the bottom of my smoothie, but that's not a big deal to me. The one thing that is a little irksome is that the lid is quite tight and it is sometimes difficult to get it to flip open, that may loosen up over time, though. I would definitely recommend this product to other Oster blender owners.

You mix your smoothie in the container you drink from, so you have only one item to clean instead of two, although you can only make a smoothie for one. It comes with its own mixing blades; also handy. Minor annoyance: because it is extruded plastic, it has a couple of hard to clean places. All in all a great item.

The size is very convenient for on the go, however it does not blend well.

I have several smoothie shakers, but this one is the best. It works so well in my blender. I have been able to take my smoothie with me several times already.

I bought this kit because I needed to replace my osterizers blenders blades and it fit perfectly which saves me money in buying another blender.

Lid on cover gets in the way when drinking. Need to use straw or remove flip top cover.

It's small and good to make smoothie. It has separate cup also so no need of different Glass. But I purchased 60 days also not completed and plastic ring broken. Unfortunately I didn't know this will happen so I didn't save box and now I can't return or exchange.

I bought the first one the cover will snap open automatically. I returned it and purchased the same item. this time the cover functioned as it should. I love it .

to make a smoothie, need to have aeration room in the vessel. this is too small, so works nicely, but smoothie not as good.

The kit is functional. However, the Oster blender does not have the correct rpms to blend smoothies like a Vitamix. However, the price from Best Buy was excellent and made the purchase worth trying.

it works great for those short minutes before leaving to work and great to enjoy while on our way anywhere

I use this in the mornings for protein shakes to take with me to work. I like this because it prevents me from having to use my blender and then pour it into another container - one less thing to clean. The O-rings can have issues. I had one rip one the first use and it had to be tossed. There are a couple of notches on the side that trap whatever you're blending. It's hard to get inside them to clean.

It brought my old bender back to life! These replacement parts are wonderful. I never thought Id see the day where a blender actually crushes the ice into a smooth consistency. I'll be making my own frappuccinos at home now. I still cant believe it. I thought I would have to spend 500+ to get a commercial grade blender to make my favorite drinks but this cheap little kit did it for me. Im in love!

Great for green smoothies. I originally bought two of these and liked them so much that I bought two more. Perfect single serving size. The cup opening is a little small, so I just use a $2 canning funnel to load the cup with frozen fruits, ice and greens. I am now able to use my older, inexpensive blender with great results and I no longer dream about owning a Vitamix to make green smoothies. I also found some ½ inch wide by 10 inch long straws at a local Dollar store that work great with the caps on and a bottle brush that cleans the cup nicely after use. I couldn’t be more pleased.

I bought this instead of one of the latest "drink" blenders - I have a blender base already, and this fits absolutely perfect! Saved a lot of $$$ by doing this instead of one of the new options.

I was in need of a charger. This one is more durable than my oem one.

What a great deal. You do not need to purchase the Magic bullet when you purchase this. Just about everyone has a blender. With this you can make your own smoothie, shake, etc. and don't need to spend a fortune. It fits right on your blender base. I use it everyday and am very happy with this purchase. I highly recommend it for anyone and everyone. Great value for your buck....
