Great for sandwiches

I am giving it 4 stars because it does not have temperature numbers for the knob. Other than that it's good

I've tried it a few times, and it did what it's supposed to. Clean up was done with a small wet towel, and it was easy. The settings knob on the front of it allows the user to control how "toasty" you want your sandwiches to be. The only drawback is that there is no power button, so the only way to turn it on and off is to plug it and unplug it...

Now the dial to set you cooking temp has no numbers or any real way to show you what your cooking temp is.. So its easy to set the temp too high for what you are cooking And their non stick coating works too well, I made a grilled cheese for a test cook and because I was not sure how hot the cooking temp was, I had it too hot and it melted the cheese right out of the bread ( I also had the tilt feature set to drain off any extra melted butter) and then when the cheese melted out of the bread, it slid over the non-stick coating out the front of the panini press and all over my counter top. So if I were you, I would pass on this cooker
