If you are not careful at first with the amount of batter you may have some spilling, but after a few tries and messing around with the settings the waffles will come out just how you like them.

Outstanding quality wafflemaker

However, this Oster is worth the money. This one is far better quality, parts are durable and it is easy to operate. Waffles do not stick to ceramic coating.
