It's pretty standard no hidden gem, but that's why this thing is excellent. It does what it's supposed to and with a 10 year limited warranty no less so there's no risk of you losing on this investment. I would highly recommend it if you are like me and like to blend regularly.

The only thing it could have left off is a separate on-off switch, *in addition to* regular speed buttons--it should simply turn on when you touch the speed, and turn off when you stop the speed. The jar is quite wide, but I think it would serve me better if it was a bit narrower but somewhat taller. All in all, tho, I'd recommend it.

Decent blender

Nice solid glass jar and the base is stable. My only gripe is that underneath the blade, it's already started to rust.
