It works great for smoothies! I use it every morning

My old Oster lasted for years and I was pleased to find this replacement. I love the durability and sturdiness of the glass container. Very easy to clean and always looks good. The programmed setting for "Drinks and Shakes" works terrific. Frozen fruit and ice are both handled quite easily. My only complaint would be the lid. I do not add items while blending, so that feature is wasted with me. However, I do have to mess with it during clean-up. I would like the lid MUCH better without this. Otherwise, VERY satisfied after using daily for over a month.

I usually use this for milkshakes which turn out good. I do a lot of indian cooking and use this for the gravies. It doesn't grind them well. Spinach or any other leaves dont blend fine. The gravies are coarse. Manageable for me.

As always Oster has the best Blenders on the market all metal drive to make sure it will last years and years, if you want to buy a Blender get an Oster!

first blender does the job and i love it! great for first time buyers and people that dont wanna eat whole fruits and vegetables they can blend it so its more edible.

I have this for a month now and I use this everyday with loads of ice cubes, very sharp blades. It works very well with smoothie, I recommend this blender.

I bought this originally in the Danbury Ct store. I live in NY. When I finally opened the box after I got home from my trip to Connecticut, I found that the jar had a large chip in it. I had no problem in returning it to the Vestal, NY store. None were in stock at the store, so they ordered on line with expedited shipping. I received it the next day and have been happy with it since then. Thank you Best Buy for friendly service and help on my return of damaged product. Packaging was solid, no dents or damaged box. Must have been packed that way at factory.

Great blender. We bought for our camper & it's been perfect. Holds up nice & makes great drinks for the adults & smoothies & shakes for the kids

The blades are powerful yet easy to handle & clean. Also not heavy. I liked the size of the blender jar because it can hold large amounts.

We were looking for something reasonably priced with more than one speed. So far, this has met our expectations.

This is a decent blender. I like that I am able to remove the bottom piece for cleaning however, it is very loud.

A great blender. Make a lot of smoothies and crushes ice superbly and fast! Great for processing garden tomatoes for sauce! Great value!

This is a very good blender. Ee use for multiple things. It makes a shake to be very creamy.

In our household its main use was for making smoothies. It is very loud, but that is to be expected although i'm not sure if other units are quieter. Only complaint is that when fully filled it tends to just circulate the bottom half and not the whole content of the jar.
