    Very handy for frequent use - we use for fruit smoothies, shakes, crushing ice and mixed drinks. There's even a smoothie option which makes it easy for kids. If you need to grind hardier items like hard veggies, would recommend a Vitamix but then you are paying several hundred. Well built with a glass jar, it stays in place and doesn't "bounce around" on the counter when blending at high speeds. We compared this versus spendier options and it's a great value.
