Blender was super loud. bottom part came off after just 3 days. Took it back and got a Ninja.

My blender recently broke down and I was insearch of another blender. I looked around and decided that this blender would make a suitable replacement because it had alot of the same specifications with one difference; this blender had more power!!! I took it home and bam, it worked out great! I was lost without my orange juice and fruit shakes in the morning for breakfast, but with multiple speeds, rotations, and a durable container this thing can make a smoothie in no time! I would definetly recommend it to anyone who was interested in blending!

Not sure if ours was broken, but we returned it because all it did was chop. It didn't come close to liquefying. We tried smoothies and salsa, but each time we were left with decent chunks of fruit, even after blending for 15 minutes. We didn't even think to try ice with its performance. We did return if for another Oster blend, that we are extremely pleased with.

I bought this because I needed something cheaper than the blentec I really wanted. I am a vegan so almost all of my recipes include nuts so I wanted something powerful but affordable. It emulsifies whatever you put in it. Having said that it is not ideal if you want to make nut butters or grind nuts you will still need to get a food processor to do those jobs but overall it does an amazing job for the money. Ice is also not a problem no huge chunks or pieces are left I use it to make smoothies and to blend my ice cream mixture. Great blender for the money. My only gripe is the glass bowl I have to replace already and I've only owned it for a month because it chipped at the top the good news Oster sells them for a reasonable price but I have to wait until they get more in stock.

I searched much more expensive machines to make smoothies and such before finding this one, my first Oster is 42 years old and still going, so I figured if this one does half as well, it was worth the try. Very pleased with its performance, makes a smoothie while you watch, powerful motor, has no problem with ice, all around great machine!

This is one great and very powerful machine . I bought this because we love mudslides and my previous blender would just sit and hum and stink up the kitchen when I tried to crush ice , with liquid or without . This thing just destroys the ice without any strain at all . I love it !! I put it through a tough test the first day I bought it . I think from here on it should be able to handle anything I throw at it ..

I needed to replace my old Black & Decker which cracked around the blade & was leaking. What a difference between the 2 blenders. The Oster Fusion is a workhorse. It made a perfect pina colada & has been perfect so far for lighter tasks as well. I am very impressed with it's performance & would recommend it to anyone looking for a high performance blender at a reasonable price.

We have three of these blenders and use them all day long in our shake club. They are very durable and blend ice into fabulous shakes. There is never any chucks at the bottom very consistent blending!! I would recommend this model to everyone!!

Our family needed a powerful blender/food processor, so we retired our old one and bought this, fairly expensive blender. We've been using it for more than a year now and it still works great. Clean up is easy as the blade holder (quite sharp!) twist off so you can clean its nooks and crannies. As mentioned by another reviewer, the glass container is not stable off its base so we just keep in on all the time. Other than that the motor is very powerful and the product looks great. I just wished we used it more that the occasional shakes and smoothies that we do.

My previous blender died on me while trying to make a sauce like a pesto that I make for the holidays--I burnt out the motor (not an Osterizer). I went out and got a new one and chose this model because of the power of the blender. I was not dissappointed. It quickly blended up my sauce. I like the on/off button and how after a while, if I forget to turn it off, it shuts off on its own. Also that I have two pulses (low/high) and that I can program blending for my favorite items that I do on a regular basis. I have consistently liked OSTER brands/models, and was NOT disappointed with this one. On top of that, the glass from another Osterizer I had was able to fit this base as well (it is a smaller size glass) so that was an accidental bonus.

After only two years, we just retired a highly rated blender. Looking for something with more power at a reasonable price, we found the Oster Fusion 7 in stock at our local Best Buy. The glass jar has an easily cleaned lid with a feed chute larger than the cubes from our ice maker. The convenient controls include useful low and high speed pulse buttons. Low and medium operating speeds are surprisingly quiet. High speed noise resembles our older blenders, but seems more effective making smoothies. The pre-programmed "Frozen Drinks & Shakes" setting works well and is fun to watch. Black may not be the best color for a small appliance in our kitchen and the stick-on metal labels don't inspire confidence, but it works so well that we don't care.

I really like this blender, I use it at least every other day and have never had an issue with it

Amazing blender, chops and blends very very well. Makes thick smoothies. I love the preset smoothie button. Unit is loud but its expected when you buy one as powerful as this. And it DOES have reversible blades, it just only uses the feature when using the preset buttons, not the manual ones. GET IT

I assume all blenders can make good "smoothies", adult and otherwise. This blender does that but I selected it because it has an all-metal, not plastic, drive mechanism and a glass, not plastic, jar. It seems to be an excellent buy and has prepared my adult tropical drinks every day without complaint. I would certainly recommnd this blender. I think it is an exceptional value.
