I don't get why everyone talks about how great air fry is??? Maybe it is this air fryer??? Comes out over cooked on outside and not cooked in middle. Wish I had gone with a regular old toaster oven that takes up so little space.

I got this originally because my toaster oven and regular gas oven both bit the dust simultaneously. I figured this was a smart purchase, considering I've been wanting to try an air fryer. Overall there are a couple of minor issues. First, the buttons are not sensitive enough. Be prepared to press the same button several times for the same command. This is especially annoying when trying to set the temperature. Second, since the walls are permanent (as opposed to other fryers that have a removable interior), it is hard to clean. Also be aware that the max temperature is 450F. Here are the results for the specific functions I've used so far: Oven - works very well. No issues. Toaster - Due to the distance of the heating elements to the toast, it does not toast as well as a regular toaster. The toast almost ends up baked instead, leaving it more stiff and brittle. Convection - works very well. Air Fryer - This is where it shines! So far I've made several vegetables including broccoli, carrots, potatoes and onions. I also air fried a NY strip steak. ALL of it turned out delicious!

All the functions operate nicely with the exception of toasting. Rephrase, toast feature works fine if you have the time...very slow. I have experimented with toasting using the air fry mode and this feature for toasting is much better....very fast. Be patient with the start and cancel buttons though, you have to locate a very hard to find sweet spot.

For example, 350, 375, not 360 or 380. There is another model that has an inside light but it wasn't available at Best Buy. We'll see more as we begin to use it.

We had a toaster oven but it was small, old, and fairly beat up. We also had a dehydrator and air fryer already, but the air fryer didn't have enough room to make enough food for dinner in one go and we'd have to use it multiple times to make enough. That, and the fact that both the fryer and dehydrator were huge, helped us decide to purchase this to replace all 3 items. We've used it a bit, trying the air fryer, toaster, and baking capabilities, and so far all of them have exceeded expectations! We air fried some pot stickers, which came out crispy on the outside but the inside was perfect and juicy. The toaster worked great, and this oven is large enough to fit a good sized pan, so we baked our dinner in it one night. Overall a great product and we highly recommend it.
