I’ve used otterbox products for a decade, and I’ve come to expect much better than this. The tension joint in the mount lost its grip, and one hot day ruined the adhesive pad. normal car vibration loosens the mount and the whole thing slides down.

Wanted to like this mount but …

Maybe because I use an iPhone 13 Pro Max and it is too heavy.

Weak MagSafe magnet

Everything worked great except the magnetic holder. Even when I took off the MagSafe compatible case, the phone slid right off after going over the first bump in parking lot of the store where I bought it. Disappointing to say the least. Returned it for a full refund five minutes later.

The arm doesn’t hold its position like I thought it would. It begins to fall after a short while. Also the suction cup has lifted causing the mount to fall a couple times. I have an iPhone mini, so the weight of the phone shouldn’t be a problem.

It was easy to install and set up. The magnet is strong and holds the phone up well without issues. The only negative I can think of is when the lock on the mount part loosens a bit the 13 Pro Max weight causes it to tilt downwards. I was able to solve this by using the charging cable to help support the weight against the dashboard.
