Cause when you turn on the air the phine get too cold and when you turnon the heat your phine get too hot. So I prefer the mount on the dashboard. But it holds my phone very well.

I have an Honda Civic and by the ac it covers my screen and sometimes when I try to get my phone off from it, the whole thing comes out and I have to put it back again. Also, it keeps falling off maybe because its too big for my ac or my phone too heavy.

Barely even touched it or used it. Like the concept with mag safe and held on well with magnet and was excited to get it.

Worked fine for 3 months

Never moved it from the time it was purchased but the heat must have weakened the plastic and it just fell off one day. OtterBox will charge you $10 for a replacement/shipping.
