The Otter Box Commuter case is a simple case that offers great protection. Not bulky. Only negative is the flap that covers the charging port. Seems to get in the way sometimes.

This is my second Otterbox Commuter. I chose it for my first iPhone and I liked it so much that I bought it again for my new iPhone. I needed protection for my phone however I didn't like the Defender because it was big and clunky and ruined the slim profile of my phone that I liked so much. That's why I chose the Commuter. While it does increase the profile of my phone, it's not by much and it does it in style. It is a good looking cover as well as it protects it at a level where most minimalistic covers didn't. It's a good choice. The only downfall is that it doesn't come with a screen protector, a problem that is easily solved.

I really like this case. It is not too bulky but will protect the phone.

I had some trouble putting this case on initially. It installs in 2 phases. Make sure to insert the the flap that covers the charging outlet first. At first, I couldn’t get it to fit the iPhone XS and it kept falling off in my pocket. After some pressure to the case and phone, it seems fine. I’ve dropped the phone twice now and no damage. So far, I would recommend this.
