When you actually want to protect your phone rather than having a purdy sparkly chase, get the Otterbox. I don’t buy protection plans, I buy a protective chase and I keep my phones about six years. Haven’t broken a phone yet. (Knock on wood). Otterbox, protection doesn’t cost, it pays!

I am very pleased with the construction of this iphone xr case. the inner layer is soft yet rigid. The outer layer is a solid plastic which holds the inner layer on very snug. It has great coverage around the body of my phone.

We looked at several cases for the iPhone but with the traveling we do, we needed a case that would hold up; Otter Box is that case.

Been using otterbox cases for years. Since the iPhone5 and never had an issue. This case isn’t the bulky defender case but it gives you just enough bulk and protection without it taking up a lot of pocket space. The case doesn’t have a screen protector(most xr cases don’t) but it does have enough lip around the screen so you should be with most front facing falls. I’d still recommend a screen protector just to be extra safe. But overall this case is great. My only complaint is that it doesn’t have enough colors and it hides the gorgeous back of the iPhone XR. But if you can live with that then you’ll be good to go.

Case fits snuggly, ample wrap-around the edges, great hybrid protection of silicone insert and hard outer shell. It does bulk up the phone, but not too bad, and this is unavoidable for any quality protection. This is the third Otterbox I've owned for various phones. My kids are rough on my phone, and Otterbox has never broken down, unlike the cheaper cases I have tried. Much more durable than the cheaper alternatives. This case isn't cheap, but it's much cheaper than replacing a phone!

This case was for my new XR iPhone. It did not add bulk yet it seems as though it’s going to protect the phone. The case makes it easier to hold and less likely to fall out of my hand. The last OtterBox case that I bought was too bulky for my iPhone 7 this one is just right

I had a Symmetry case for over 2 years without any damage to my iPhone 7. I looked for a new Otterbox with the Xr, and the Commuter provides more protection and it’s easier to put on. The case can seem bulky, but that’s the trade off for more protection.

Bought this case due to it being a little bit smaller and thinner vs a larger Otter Box. Thankfully have not had to test the drop rating yet and it definitely is easier to handle than the larger cases. I am having to get used to the back being a little more slick so I tend to lay in on the face as the front has more a of a rubber casing so it does not slide. Overall I like the case just wish the back had more a rubber grip.

The Otter case and lightweight, slim, and easily fit in to your pocket If you don’t like to carry a purse. It is a great way to protect your devices from damage if you are like me and have a tendency to drop your phone a lot.

Outstanding fit and protection for XR iPhone. OtterBox case is well design as usual and provides maximum protection. The case is a little bulky but I prefer this trade off for the protection

The case is nice and fits well. It seems as thick as their flagship case but without the screen protector. Very grippy and could pose an issue getting it out of smaller pants pockets easily. But if you want some of the best protection out there its hard to beat.

This brand is my favorite!!! Always fits and protects my phones the best. It’s not bulky at all. Definitely recommend it

Slimmer than the defender series and in my opinion protects just as well. Easier to carry in pockets

This case is good. My phone survived a fall on ice so far without a scratch. The case does add a bit of bulk to the iPhone, but it keeps it safe and makes it easy to hold. Only grip is the cover over the charge port/headphone jack is hard to open, but at the same time is also well protected from things. Great value foe the money too.

I have previously used Otterbox Defender series cases for my phones. Just recently acquired a new phone and purchased the Commuter case for IPhone XR. It fits great and I’m very pleased. I know that Otterbox will protect my phone. Also, unlike some other retailers, Best Buy lets you take the case out of the box and try it on your phone before purchasing so you really know if it’s what you’re looking for.

Well made sturdy phone case. Great design with rubber type material allows for a good grip, and protects phone from surface scratches and dents. Snug fit. Fortunately haven't dropped the phone yet, so cannot determine how well the cover protects in that area. Overall excellent, however rated 4 stars at the price appears a bit escalated for a phone case.
