I wanted a slimline case but felt I needed a little more protection. This case adds the protection I needed. The camera lenses and screen are protected due to the raised edges. You can lay the phone flat on either side and not have to worry about if it’s touching the surface. This case doesn’t feel bulky at all. There is an added grip pattern around the volume and power keys. This case consists of two pieces. You can separate the hard shell from the soft shell. For me, it was easier to install the phone into the case when both pieces are together. When it came time for me to clean my phone, it was easier to remove the phone by removing the hard shell first, this made the soft shell more flexible. If you want a case that adds protection and doesn’t feel bulky at all, this is the case for you. If you want a case with a kickstand, this is not the case for you.

Very solid case! otter box is always my go to for phone cases I drop my phone all the time and it always protects it. the right amount of protection but still not very bulky.

It’s a bit bulky but this offers protection against drops and bumps. The trap door over the charging plug is to keep pocket lint and other dust and dirt out. Good thing, but it gets in the way, makes plugging in a little harder. In general it’s a good thing.

I say it’s very good because up until now I haven’t had any problems with it.And it protects my phone from from the few falls that I had and it’s not bulky, it’s also easy to put it on and removing it.

The OtterBox cases were notorious for being difficult to remove once on your phone. But the newer cases have improved on that and are significantly easier to remove while not sacrificing any protective strengths and quality. I've had one bad drop of my phone from about 6 feet and it landed flat screen-side. No damage or issues whatsoever to my phone. One pro I've always liked about the OtterBox series is the front of the case protrudes out further than the screen. So instances like my aforementioned drop, the screen doesn't actually have contact with the ground.

This is ideal for me. It’s simple, functional, and doesn’t add much bulk to the phone. There are simpler cases that keep your phone slimmer but don’t offer as much protection. And then there are cases, such as other Otterbox offerings that add more bulk and more protection. This option DOES NOT come with the additional part that clips over your screen or the kickstand feature. I’d say the least convenient thing is the cover over the port. When I need to plug in the phone to recharge I have to open a cover, but I really don’t mind and keeps dirt from getting in the port.

I went to Best Buy to get Symmetry for my new phone bc it gave my old 8 plus good protection. At store I figured out commuter could provide better front protection and much easier to put on and off. I am so glad that I made the right choice to pick commuter instead of Symmetry bc the next day I accidentally dropped my phone on marble floor but the phone, case and screen protector were all in perfect condition. Symmetry gave my old 8 plus 2 years good protection but not the screen protector, which I changed at least 5 times. Also, I like the feel and look.

I have been using Otterbox ever since I had the iPhone 6. The commuter case provides great protection without being too bulky. I bought the case the same day I got my iPhone 11 Pro and in my opinion, Otterbox makes some of the best phone cases. I’ve used other phone cases and they tend to break or are not properly sealed. The only thing I would recommend that Otterbox add to this case is more grip so it feels more secure in hand.

Very protective case for a very expensive phone, but it is a little heavy. There is a cover for the charging port/headphone port that is sometimes tricky to get open-- for example, when you are trying to plug headphones in to answer an incoming call, but if you use wireless charging and bluetooth ear buds, it really isn't an issue and has loosened a bit with use. The side cover (over the volume and power buttons) are a great fit and allow the buttons to be very responsive. It protects the corners of the phone without covering microphones or speakers. I like that Otterbox has started making protective cases without the screen covers. This one does not have a built in screen protector, so if that is important to you, you will want to buy that separately.

This is a good case. I felt like it had the OtterBox protection without the bulk. Its much more sleek. Slides in & out of pocket with ease. It does not have the rubber outer non slip like the others

Love this case; very protective but not as bulky as others. The outter hard case did end up breaking after a while but after submitting a warranty claim they quickly sent a brand new case within a week’s time. Wow!!! I will definitely buy Otter Box for my phones going forward due to the quality but also the customer service. Thank you!

I have used no case, and cheap simple cases and this case is great. You cannot go wrong with Otterbox Commuter. It barely adds any size to the phone and it fits great while still offering outstanding protection of your device. I used to not like cases but this one is great. If you have an iPhone 11 Pro and want a minimal case that protects your phone this is it.

This thing turns your iPhone to a tank super high quality exactly what you would expect from otterbox. I haven’t used a case in over 10 years but I’m glad I picked this one up. Some say it makes your phone super clunky I disagree. Great buy will definitely pick up another in the future

Even before I got my device I was doing my research on otterboxes for my phone. After searching for a while I finally found it, this one! I was not one bit disappointed! I love the shape, its bit more on the square side, love that. Theres a lot of otter cases out there and so many that make it so hard to be able to quickly put in your pocket or pull it out because of the rubber on the back or the edges. This is not one of those cases. This one goes in and out of your jeans pockets like nothing! This case is so awesome that my husband even asked where I got it and I ended up getting him one for his phone! Both cases have taken their tumbles, on grabble, on pavement! And the case still looks like new, not to mention phone screens and body completely intact! So yes I'd absolutely recommend anyone to get this! It's aesthetically pleasing, at the same time protects your phone like it says and should! We love out our OtterBox - Commuter Series Case!

Got a new iPhone and have used a commuter series otter box for my last couple phones, so had to get one again. It never disappoints! Fits perfectly and protects my phone from everyday drops and bumps without being too bulky.

Not much to say here. It’s an otter box. Quality is good and it’s slimmer than the defender, but provides enough support in case of drops. You can still charge your phone on a wireless charging with this case still on too.

Works really well, got this for my wife's phone and it feels very protected especially with a screen protector. It does add some weight when holding it in your hand but it's worth the tradeoff.
