It protects the phone but the inability to be heard with the phone close to your mouth is a problem. I would recommend it for protection.

I feel it is a bit slippery to handle. It would be better with a rubberized coating to get the grip for the price of the product.

We’re glad that the Commuter is taking care of your iPhone. That’s a bummer that it is a bit too slippery for your comfort level! We certainly weren’t out to cause any precarious situations, but rather create a streamlined design with ease-of-use for clothing pockets, etc. Unfortunately we could not make the case universal with all charging cables and doc stations. If you are using the Apple charging cable that came with the phone you should not have any issues. If, while using the Apple charging cable, you are having problems charging your phone please give us a call at 1-855-688-7269, and we will be happy to help out.

Otter Box is always bulky but the protection will last you as long as you own your device. If the plastic part degraded, you just need contact otterBox and request replacement.

Otter has come a LONG way

This case has fixed these cases. I also recommend a glass screen protector to go with it as this case dies nothing for the front of the phone.

I can't give this 5 stars because it doesn't proctect from the elements. Other than that it's great quality, very compact and was easy to install.

I always get otterbox cases, but had to wait for this to come out for awhile. Had a leather apple case for a bit, but the edges were worn down within a month. This case made me much more comfortable with my son using this as well. I matched it with a zagg shield for good protection. I Especially like the covers of the ports on the bottom so fluff doesn't get into it.
