I love Otter Boxes! This was a must for my husband when he got a new phone. He was resistant to use it because the last one was big and bulky and didn't slide in and out of his pocket easily. This one does the job and he is still using it! It offers great protection and looks nice!

The Commuter offers good protection. I would like it better if the surface wasn't so slick. Makes me feel like I always have to make sure I have a firm grip on it to keep it from slipping from my hand, especially using it on a big phone like the Galaxy Note 4. Maybe that's a good thing, because it keeps me focused on hanging on the phone, preventing accidental drops. I do like the flaps that cover the charging plug-in and the headphone plug-in.

As everyone knows, the Galaxy Notes are both expensive and large phones. As a result, it was important to me to get a case that would protect it without adding too much bulk. The Otterbox Commuter scores on both fronts, as it allows my Note 4 to remain "pocketable" while providing excellent protection.

Are they more expensive than your typical fleebay stuff? Yes but these cases are worth the money they protect your gadgets nicely! I do always replace the included screen protector but it will do in a pinch!

I had the defender cases on many of my devices. They are good, but bulky and not pocket friendly. The commuter case IS pocket friendly, strong, reliable, and still my "go to case style" even after trying other styles and brands. All of the phone's edges are covered well; so no worries whether the phone is face down or face up because camera never touches the surface nor does the screen. I will never again waste my money on the "cheapies" that have left previous devices of mine with cosmetic damages and/or cracked screens. Im my opinion, this case is worth the extra investment costs.

Solid and sturdy case for my Note 4. Very protective yet unobtrusive. Just wish that the back of the case wasn't so "slippery" when I put down my smartphone on a curved or slanted surface. Other than that, still highly recommended!

Great case one of the best. Got a spegin ammor case but still use the otterbox. A must have if u want to protect ur device. Even as the dust flaps like the defender does. Highly recommended

I have dropped my phone twice and no issues thus far. The only draw back is you have to pull the phone out of the protector in order to charge it because the charger will not sinc up properly with the case on.

I purchased the otter box commuter series because it was less bulky than the defender series. It comes with the dust covers for the headphones, the usb input and also a simple screen protector. Best Buy will install the otter box for you but will not put on the screen protector because it only comes with one screen protector and if they mess it up then they would have to replace it with another. SO TAKE YOUR TIME PUTTING IT ON!! You only get one screen protector. I gave it 4 starts out of 5 mostly because it still collects dust at the edges when you remove the case for any reason. All in all still not a bad phone case its very sturdy and will protect your note 4 from drops and scratches just don't throw it at the wall..lol

the otter box phone case is a good case. i bought it for my new Samsung galaxy note 4. the note 4 is a big phone to start with, the case makes it a little bigger on every side. it is thick enough to protect from punctures. was easy to put on the phone. i like the case but hate the screen protector. i can never get the things on with out garbage under the protector which touches the glass. i gave up after 15 minutes of trying to put the screen protector on. just using the case.

The case for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 fits great. The phone feels pretty bomb proof in the case, the bezel isn't too big, and it's not too heavy. My only problem is that case fits so snug that it interferes with the touch sensitivity of the screen near the phone. I've taken the case off and am back to carrying my Note 4 au natural...just as Samsung shipped it.

Case is made to protect your phone while still allowing your phone to function. Not overly bulky either.

I like the non bulky feel. It fits my shirt pocket without struggle. I have not dropped my note 4 with this case yet so we will see how it withstands shock. I did not use the shield provided since I had bought and installed a heavier duty shield before finding the case. Overall I like the secure feel.

Purchased to protect my note 4 Is perfect for protection. Without making the phone obnoxiously bulky.

Ended up removing the outer shell after a day or two because the case was so bulky, but offers good protection either way

I had a similar case I ordered online and much cheaper from Speigen and when my phone dropped one day it only shattered my ZAGG shield luckily but the case didn't survive. I got this case right after as I needed to protect my phone, this case has protected my phone through three more drops like the one that cracked the ZAGG screen protector with the exception that the phone and screen protector were unscathed.

Fits well works great I love otterbox I just got a new iPhone and purchased another otterbox they are the best

I have always loved using Otterbox for my phones. The only reason this gets 4 stars is because the rubber corners are not foolproof. The older versions had better fuller rubber corners which saved my phone each fall. For some reason, Otterbox decided to make the rubber corners less full, so depending on how your phone falls, it is still susceptible to scratches and gouges on the hard plastic of the Otterbox. Generally, still great protection!

I have owned 3 or 4 of these cases and they have saved my phone from inadvertent disasters from dropping. Every time, my phone is in pristine condition when I turn it in. Not too bulky and has a solid feel. Easy to remove if needed.

This case is great. The Note 4 is already a big phone and I was worried that adding an otter box to it would make it hard to carry around in my pocket. I was pleased to see that I was wrong. The compact design of the case makes it slide into my pocket just as easily as if it wasn't in a case. Also, I've dropped my phone a few times and it wasn't damaged.
