I love everything about this case. I had the Defender before but it was too bulky. This case is protective without being bulky. I love the texture of it. I have been using the case for 3 months and the phone has not slipped from my hand once. The phone has fallen on the ground a few times and has not sustained a scratch. Plus the colors are pretty. Overall I highly recommend this case.

The colors are true to color fits perfect .great protection.had this case in a different color for2years.I got bored with the color that's the only reason I bought this new case.

I am REALLY hard on phone cases...I once destroyed 2 military grade cases in less than a week. Anyway, my latest case was close to death & this one was on clearance so I decided to give it a try. I like it alot. It's way less bulky than previous cases I've used but seems to provide about the same protection. I haven't had any problems with the sound, as some people have reported. It's held up well so far & so no signs of wear yet so it seems pretty durable.

It was a perfect fit unlike some I purchased else where and seem a bit small when they were supposed to fit my phone. I have not stopped using it since the day I purchased it. Love the color and the fact that it tabs to close the earbud opening and the plug area so no dust and dirt can get inside. Best phone case I have purchased and I have purchased plenty trying to find the right one. This is it! Even the price was perfect. Great value for the money.

I recently trashed my case that had the screen protector built right into the case because some times it made have to either hit the buttons really hard to read it or it need did. Got sick of that and tried this phone cover. The screen protector comes free with the case and it still has the same durability - plus a no slip grip. If you can get pass having the put the screen protector on yourself - your golden!

I bought the commuter because it was less bulky than the defender. I love the color and how sleek it is. Haven't dropped the phone, so I hope it works! It also fits perfectly and was easy to install. The only downside is the price. Overall, Highly recommended!

After burning through four cheap cases in as many months, I can now see why Otterboxes are pricier: they're worth it! I thought it would be too hard of a case to hold on to when I play games and such, but it's not; it's nearly as easy to grip as the silicone ones I like so much (but which don't protect well nor last very long). It also has a sizable lip around the screen area so is excellent for cushioning when I drop it (several times a week lol). That said, it's not too bulky and fits in all my pockets without getting caught on anything. And even though it's not marketed as water proof or water resistant, I can attest (working in an un-air-conditioned warehouse during Florida summer) that it HAS protected my GS4 when it's been drenched with sweat...

Bought this case for my 12 year old daughter because I was worried about her breaking her phone. The colors are bright, the case isn't bulky, and her phone is very protected from damage. She's dropped the phone a few times and there has been no damage to the phone at all.

Easy to assemble. It is not too bulky. It looks good and most importantly it protects from drops and falls. You may want to use another screen protector.

This phone case works great at protecting the phone without adding much bulk. The case contains a hard shell and a soft inner wrap to protect the phone from drops. I dropped it for the first time the other day -- I have a bad habit of setting my phone in my lap and then dropping it when I stand to get out of the car. Well, the phone fell from my lap onto the concrete. There were a couple small scuffs on the case, but no damage to the phone. The case is a little slippery, but this allows the case to go in and out of pockets easily.

Ive always used otterbox commuters for my phones. They arent bulky yet i have personally droped myphone and kicked it on the way down. Never even a cracked screen!!

I liked this case because it fits perfect to the Samsung S4 and protects really well the phone for accidental drops and I love the color combination for this case

I like this cover it protects from phone in case I drop it and I like the grooves on the side of the cover that keeps the phone from slipping out of your hand.

Have had the Commuter case for a month but haven't dropped it yet. Don't know how well it will protect it. Time will tell. Love that it makes the phone easier to hold on to. The phone was a little slippery before I installed the case. Now it's not. It was very easy to put. I was worried the side buttons would be hard to push but they're not. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase.

Otterbox delivers above standard quality and workmanship in a competitive industry with the Commuter Series case for my Galaxy S4. As a club DJ I am always movin' and groovin', bumpin' and grindin' to the daily swing or nightly beat. My phone gets tossed, dropped, flipped and even forgotten into the unknown. With the Commuter Series case on guard I can trust that even while traveling into the unknown Otterbox has me covered and I can still call home. I give two thumbs up and a Mile-High recommendation!

They have created a seemed case that provides a shield for your phone and seemless design and yet functional in that there is a tab that opens to charge or insert earphones. It also has a raised edge that protects your faceplate of your phone with a secure fit keeping your case snugly in place! Great product!

Chose the comuter version due to it's size, not as bulky as the defender but still strong. The phone has been dropped several times already with only some minor scuffs on the case. Easy to put on and fits perfect, does not block any ports and does not interfere with the screen protector.
