I got this as a gift for my spouse, who smacks into things and drops his phone. I don't think I've ever seen an Otterbox fail, even the time the phone fell down the stairs with nary a screen crack. When we need to replace the phone, it's not because of the OtterBox.

Easy to put and take off, protect most of the phone

An excellent protection for my cellphone. I had one for my earlier model and never got a scratch despite some drops. It was a "must have", when I purchased the new model. The built-in covers for the plug-in spots are durable and give me added assurance.

This phone case is made of very slick, smooth material with no texture to increase grip and traction and prevent drops. I have dropped my phone in this case much more than any previous phone because of this. There ARE four small pieces of textured grip on the case, two on the upper side edges, two on the back. These work a little bit to improve grip, but the rest of the case is slick. I am very confused as to why Otterbox would not make a product that provides better grip, and therefore protection. The upside is that the case does offer great protection from the frequent drops caused by the lack of grip or traction on the case. Otherwise my phone would have been trashed within days of me putting this case on my phone!

The case is able to adequately protect my phone without feeling too thick. The edges of the case are raised around the screen so there's no worry about your screen being damaged when it hits the ground.

I love Otterbox, this is my second. The first one lasted 6 years and kept my phone safe. Otterbox protects phones the best. I dropped my phone many times and it was protected. The commuter will do the same to protect my new phone. Thank you Otterbox.

Got this for one of the kids. I would say it's a necessary evil because they are kinda expensive and thick and bulky. But for a kid with an expensive phone it's also a must. I would still. Purchase in the future because the protection is great.

I have used otterbox for awhile i prefer the commuter over defender but this case is very durable, my phone fell once or twice from my hand so far and the case does a really good job in protecting the whole phone.

Makes me feel safer about having my phone with me but also a little too slick of a case. Usually, I have my phone on my lap at times and with this case it is still ready to slide off with any movement but at least i know its safe with this otterboxcase.

Amazing phone case. Put it on my new phone the second I bought it and have dropped it a few times and it's seems very secure. The main selling point for me was the raised edges on the front screen and for the cameras. Great case for the money.

I feel confident in saying that it keeps dust and crums from getting in. They have done that in the past with off brand phone cases, otter Box hasn't failed me ever!

Love it. I only trust otterbox with my phones. the flap for charge is manageable, if not you could always slice off a little with an exacto knife for better access. love the kept raised edge

Great case, does exactly what it is supposed to. Purchased for a teen and phone is in perfect shape still. I would buy again.

Fits phone well and good protection. But hard plastic is too slippery and falls out of my hands, off slightly slopes surfaces, etc, too easily. Needs softer rubber surfaces for handling.

This case seemed capable to protect the phone, however it affected my wireless AND wired charging capability. This case is useless by needing to take it off to charge my phone. Why not just plug it into a charger with the wire? Well this case is so poorly designed, it is difficult to open the little rubber door doohickey to access the charging port. Once you finally do eventually get the little door open, it's such thick rubber that it applies a lot pressure sideways on the connector making it difficult to get the charger into the port and will cause premature damage to the connector and port with the lateral pressure it applies to the connection. Most of us have to finance our devices over years only to have to have it repaired more frequently due to a simple case design that is absolutely ridiculous.

This case isnt as bulky as most otter box cases which I love! Havent dropped my new phone yet (knock on wood), but so far I'm enjoying the case

Samsung S23 is a great phone. I've been looking for a new phone for a while. I'm a disabled veteran and can only use my left hand. It very easy for me to control with one hand.

It did fit, but it is really tight and sometime causes the screen protector in one corner to pick up causing an air bubble.

Fits the cell phone perfectly. Price is so much better than other stores.
