My husband has used the larger, bulkier Otter case with great success. However, for travel it is cumbersome. We tried this option and it is a great protective alternative for his phone. Much thinner and sleeker in design.

I have continuously bought this type of case for one of my son’s and it has always been a hit it looks cool it is not bulky which helps him keep it in his pocket and he even puts a pop socket on it and it works well with it

Not too bulky but offers a lot of protection--love that they offer this as a step down from the defender series. I change out my phone cases a lot because of wear and tear and I've had this case on the longest of any I've owned

OtterBox has some of the best phone cases. This one provides a lot of protection, but is not too bulky. I have had it for a while and have dropped my phone a couple of times and had no damage.

Did it's job over the years and protected teenagers phone.

We were looking for a good case at a good price and this fit the bill.

I purchased this for my wife's (very first!) smartphone. The phone feels more vulnerable without a case like this and my wife was nervous to use it much until the case arrived and I could get it set up. Worked well-- just read the instructions that what looks like the case is actually a liner and a case and you have to take the liner out and attach that first. Seems like the manufacturer could have a "remove me first" on the liner. Not a biggie. Case itself feels rugged and is actually a good combo of textured enough to hold onto without being too grabby.

I had an otter box for my iPhone 5s. It was bulky and the screen shield was thick so typing wasn't always smooth. This version is sleeker and so far seems to do the trick.

This case is perfect for my phone! I especially like that it does not add a lot of size to my phone, making it easy to carry in pockets. I drop my phone all the time, but this case keeps it protected well.

I’ve never bought a phone case that was solid because I never really needed one but I have a tough job now and I wanted something solid that could take some impacts here and there. The case is not only comfortable and slim, but it’s very sturdy and does not mess around. I get worried about thermals because it’s a two layer case and it’s not as easy to just take the case off and put it back on later because of that, but it’s fairly easy, just takes a minute. Overall, this case has confidently taken my test of using it on the job and gladly takes the fall for me, all while not being awkward while I hold it. I can happily recommend it.

Bought this as a replacement. Original case saved my phone when I dropped it. The case cracked but no damage to my phone. Good ‘thinner’ option if the defender case is to big and bulky.
