This is my second OtterBox Defender and I wouldn't buy anything else. I had one on my IPhone 5s and the phone was in pristine condition when I removed it after 2 years. I considered buying the OtterBox Commuter when I bought my iPhone 6s but decided to stick with the Defender because I am prone to dropping my phone. Already dropped it half a dozen times and no harm done!

Case has proven to be very sturdy. Been hard dropped several times and no damage to phone. All functions are easy to access and operate. The screen cover is quite sensative to tap and pressure. Only small complaint is that its rather hard to get charger plug in due to config of the port cover and how the phone lines up with port access. Other than tha - excellent!

Some of the best protection around. May not be waterproof, but your phone shouldn't be in the shower or taking a dip in the pool with you anyways. It is still an electronic device, show it some respect. But I've seen phones in these cases thrown across the room, dropped numerous times and even fallen off of moving cars. In each instance they survived with no damage.

I purchased this for my iPhone 6. I have been extremely satisfied with the protection this case provides. I don't mind spending $45 for a product that will protect my $600 phone. It gives me that extra protection on top of the insurance I have. I have dropped my phone a handful of times and the case protected it each and every time.

Otter box provides excellent protection for your phone. This case has performed as well as my other otterbox cases in the past. They have made great improvements in compactness and sturdiness of the flaps, etc. improves the sleekness of the case, but still reduces the overall sleekness of the phone itself. I find the tradeoff in protection well worth it.

I bought this item as a present for someone who lets say is... Less than gentle with their electronics. Its has protected it from multiple drops weather it was hardwood floor, carpet, cement didn't matter. They love it and it has saved the phone on multiple occasions. If I didn't have this case I would be out for at least another 1000 dollars by now haha.

The only reason I'm purchasing this today is because my other otter case looks a little old after years of use. I'm saving the old case as back up because it still works perfectly. When I get any new devices, I always start with an otter case for protection. Yes, it's bulky. Every time I open the case, my phone looks like new.
