Though a bit bulky when compared to the LIFECASE, this Otter case provides excellent protection for your iPhone. The main reason for this case over the others is the holster that comes included with the package. Being a guy, the holster made the difference because I don't put the phone in my pockets.

This is the second defender that I have had for this phone. The product does do the job of protecting phones from drops and scratches. However, the 4 out of 5 stars is due to the reasoning behind needing another case for the phone. The rubberized exterior portion of the defender eventually wears away and begins to peel to the equivalence that a severe sunburn peels. (It does take a good deal of wear and tear before this happens. As I had the first case for approximately two years. But, once the peeling begins there is no stopping it from getting much worse). What makes the peeling so frustrating is that it removes large and deep gouges of the protectant rubber from being on the case. Thus, is not only a huge eyesore, but also removes a good deal of protection from the case leaving electronics in a potential precarious situation of “just how long will this continue to keep my electronic safe?” It is overall a fantastic product. But the peeling is a bit of a drawback.

I've used this style of case before but they improved on the design. Good, durable case. I always have my two phones on my hip... and i do HVAC so there is lots of crawling and dropping involved. No issues so far!!! Used my other case for almost 7 months now and still looks new other then some dirt.

I had an OtterBox for my last phone and since I purchased a New iPhone and I wanted to protect my new phone as well so I got another box again! In the past I have dropped my phone many times and never had to worry that it would break because the OtterBox protects it so well.

I really like the case. It does a great job of protecting the phone from dropping and scratching. It is worth the money. My one complaint is that the design for the 6/6s is very difficult to put together. The inner shell is very tough to pry apart. The Otterbox for my 5s was easier to work with.

otter box is great protection for phone. not water or moisture proof. Protects from drops and falls.

I am a firm believer in otter box engineering. I had an otter box on my last phone and my phone looked brand new after 2 years of use. I was able to get top dollar trade in thanks to the otter box protection. My new phone has already survived a few tumbles. This is a great and durable product.

The only thing missing from the Defender series is waterproofing. Overall a great value for the money. I had a defender for my last iPhone and put it through the ringer. While it eventually wore out, I got plenty of use out of it and didn't hesitate to get another one when I upgraded my phone.

It was very hard initially to remove the flexible cover from the package but once it was off, disassembly and reassembly was easy. Note that the latches for the hard plastic undercover are marked with arrows on the back and should be pulled away and up from the body of the item for removal. Also, be sure to clean both the front and back of the plastic cover along with the front of the iPhone itself to remove any dirt and smudges.

This case is worth every dollar. It has saved my phone from hundres of accidentall drops. Every Iphone Ive purchased I have bought this case to protect it. You won’t regret it! Sure it makes the phone slightly bulkier but you’ll never have to replace or repair you phone.

This is my 3rd iPhone (iPhone 4, iPhone 5, iPhone 6s) and my 3rd iPhone Otterbox Defender. This case protects like no other. Phone has taken drops and falls and never had any problem. Would definitely recommend this case. The only drawback is that the case does add a lot of bulk to the phone.

In my opinion, this is the best protection you can get for an IPhone. I have dropped my phone multiple times, from a 6 foot ladder, kicked it across the room, never an issue. I trade in my old phones, and always get top dollar because of how good a shape they are in.

Fits comfortably on waistband. Case was perfect when I was doing construction on the house. Protected phone well

Have had OtterBox cases for years. For my money they are the best. Lifeproof cases are lighter and offer very good protection too except when it comes to a conversion over the phone. My wife has a Lifeproof case and the words always seem garbled. Never have that problem with the OtterBox.

It's a good case for me I work costa toon drop it often I like the belt clip and I'm surprised the screen saver seems to be pretty durable nice blue color and good protection

I needed something protective with a holster for the phone I just bought, as I had an overnight job that was going to get a little bit physical. Walked in, decided on this color combo, paid, walked out, installed it in my car. Quick, simple, looks good, and protects the phone well.

This phone case is easy to install. Its layered shell deflects impacts , scuffs and scratches.

I have been using Otter Boxes for almost 10 years now. I have never broken a phone because of how durable the Otter Box is. I have seen other people break countless phones from small drops, but with the Otter Box my phone has always stayed protected & unmarred.
