They are very rugged and work great to protect from drops. We have purchased for past phones and have dropped them with no damage.

We're glad to hear that you're loving your Defender Series case! We're bummed to hear about any disappointment with the exclusion of the screen protector, though. After extensive design testing, our engineers determined that the best way to interact with the display of this device was without the addition of built-in display protection. That being said, that case is totally compatible with Amplify and Alpha Glass!

I bought this for a family member who drops their phone frequently and so far the otter box has kept the phone safe! It’s just on the expensive side, in my opinion.

I love the sturdiness of the cases and have dropped my phone a couple of times and it never harmed my phone.

They save my phone time and time again. Kids chuck it across the room into a wall-ok! Dropped from 12 feet-ok! Stepped on-ok! Last for a few years too.

My new IPhone 11 it definitely needed an Otter box and Best Buy is the only place I purchase my Electronics from.
