They should lower the price, and change the name to Almost Defender.

After extensive design testing, our engineers determined that the best way to interact with the screen of this device was without the addition of a built-in screen protector. That being said, our tests have shown that this case provides the same level of drop protection as Defender Series cases of the past. That case is also compatible with Amplify and Alpha Glass if you're looking to add an extra level of protection.
