The protection for the iPad is great...Have purchased in past same product for my tablet....The instructions to install the cover is open for some challenge's.... Difficult to follow and understand...After several attempts and a run through a video several times did master the install...

I got this Otterbox because my toddlers ocassionally get to use my iPad under my supervision, but often they manipulate it, even if it's just to put it someplace else. Many accidents have occured, and I've even had to replace a screen from my previous iPad. This cover is very effective in protecting when it has been dropped. The downside is that it's a little heavy and uncomfortable, so I usually take the detachable part off. But overall, serves its purpose very well.

Otter boxes are the best protection on the market that I have found to protect all my apple products!!

I wouldn't take the Otter Box into the field as I think dust and water would easily get inside it. If you're just using it for home or office it's really great.

Although it makes the iPad a bit cumbersome, it's well worth it to protect such an expensive purchase.
