I like the otterbox defender for my iPad quite a bit. It offers everything I want in a protective case. But I fail to understand why it's so overpriced.

I work in a warehouse and needed a good case to keep the tablet safe. This case does the job with no issues at all. Only part about otter-box cases that I don't like is the built in screen protector is sub-par I would recommend to get the Zagg glass protector and remove the built in one. For the price you can not get a better case then this,

Fits the iPad so perfectly you don't even know that there is a screen protector on it and it also protects very well and love that it comes with the hard piece that goes on the front and doubles as a stand

User friendly and easy to use. When I first bought I found it better than any other product in the market, the only pro about it is expensive.

Tough, colorful, stands out in a bag/tote...and the best part? A color other than black is easier to spot especially if someone picks it up. Well done!

It protects the product nicely and is easy to put on.

Needed the support after learning the hard way why AppleCare or a product support plan is important. Yes the screen cover gets dirty and smudged, but so did my screen before. It just feels safer. The only down side is the snap on cover makes it a bit bulky.

This case is very sturdy and perfect for child proofing the iPad. This case was put on by the Geek Swuad after purchasing and has endured many of my 8 year olds son's drops and normal wear and tear. I would reccomend this case. But make sure to have them put it on your device at best buy in order to get the lifetime warranty.

This case offers great protection. I have used otter boxes for all my devices and never had to worry about replacing the device in which it protects.

I have purchased an Otterbox Defender for each of my iPads. I have been impressed with the wear and tear they can take with 5 kids under the age of 9 in the house handling them. We've dropped them numerous times from many heights and they have always stood the test of time. The only thing that is a drawback is the small openings where liquid could get in. I've never had a problem this way, but it does keep my wondering.

This was for a 4 year old - he hasn't broken an iPad or iPhone yet that was protected by an otter box... in spite of dropping them 1,000 times.

Compared several different cases for my new iPad Air 2 and hands down this one was for me. It is worth every penny, or should I say dollar. Have owned numerous Otter Box for phones and tablets, they have it figured out with there three layer protection.

Otter never ceases to amaze me. And the number of people without them does amaze me. Kids already dropped the iPad on the floor...or maybe it was me, but true to form, Defender kept it from shattering. So far no glitches in the operations either. Well worth the little extra for the protection and piece of mind.

I am super hard on my electronics. I have an otterbox cover for my iphone. After talking with the best buy employee i decided it was best to by the otter box cover for my Ipad as well. I love it!

This is case the case of all protective cases. It is almost ballistic resistant. Not really, but it is the best that I have seen. It is a hard case, so it might not be best for all users, just the ones who really want to protect their iPad Air.

The case fits excellent, but it makes a I-pad air 2 heavy as a brick. It has a nice feel in the hands. The stand is great for supporting the unit at a desk. It does offer great protection for the I-pad. I dropped mine onto concrete, and not a scrath or ding.
