A must if you're giving electronics to teenagers or pre-teen!!!! Great product. The only issue I have is the screen protector is average. You can put a screen protector on your iPad then the case, it will still work it just doesn't flow as easy. So you have to decide, a little less flow ease, and better screen protection, or average screen protection and very smooth operation.

This product was easy to use and assemble. It was more difficult getting out of the clamshell! Recommend it because it does protect your iPad!

Great cover. easy to install. Keeps it well protected. On a very rainy day, some moisture got in the case.

Solid case.bit bulky but protected from my husband dropping it. The finger print thing can be a little funny sometimes.

The Otterbox Defender series is the best phone and tablet case line that I have ever used. This product had a couple rough edges, so it seems QA might have gone down a bit, but not significantly; it has still protected my device from everything I’ve thrown at it (including literally—accidentally!—throwing it). It’s getting harder to find these cases for some reason; I was so glad Best Buy had them!

So pleased with this. I use my iPad daily--carry it around, throw it around, etc. and this cover is just...well...protective! My only beef is the lightning connector cover, takes some time to pull off so that the charging cable can be attached, other than that, just perfect. The hard cover is screwed into the panel of my airplane--when I want to fly I just snap the iPad into it and now it shows me where to go, just great.

Gotta love these Otter box cases. After busting my original iPad mini...twice! Decided to try out the OtterBox and had no problems assembling and it worked like a charm. Kicked, dropped, thrown my iPad mini (by mistake mind you), but the cover protects my iPad from scratches, drops, etc. It is without a doubt the best cover on the market!!!

I was worried that the screen protector attached to this case would hinder the usage of the iPad touchscreen. It doesn’t, you hardly notice it’s there. However it does get scratched easily but it’s better than the actual iPad screen getting scratched. The thumb print scanner works just fine in this case as well. Great quality case.

We purchased 4 of these, one for each family member’s iPad Mini. So far all 4 units have been well protected by these cases, even with 7 and 9 year old kids using them daily. We have used Otterboxes on past iPads as well and have never had a broken iPad.
