I got this case because I was tired of paying a monthly insurance and then having to pay to get it serviced on top of that. I was very happy with my purchase and this case definitely helps with dropping and cracked screens.

Awesome Otterbox warranty and toughest case out there. The new fingerprint hole can allow a drop of water to get under the screen protector causing touch screen to malfunction until the water is removed. Minor problem though

this case works well with the iphone - it offers great protection with minimum interference with phone operation - the screen cover works well without causing interference and does not fingerprint up quickly

My phone in an Otterbox Defender has hit the floor an uncountable number of times with zero damage, including onto concrete and terrazo floors. At least once was from up on a stepladder.

Previous case was broken by a 2-year old. Was looking for an inexpensive otterbox for the phone because I was awaiting the new iPhones coming out, so I didn't want to get something expensive if I wasn't going to keep the phone. Case was on sale, super cheap, great otterbox quality, but the ugliest design ever (not that important).

I’ve only several Otterbox cases, and they’ve all served me well. Very good and strong build quality. Protects phone well. Overpriced, but always lasts through life of phone.

Good for a phone - its a phone case and its for my phone

I usually don't buy phone protection to this extent, but after destroying a couple of phones due to drops decided to give it a try. Like that it has a screen protector. I feel that my phone is safer.

I bought this case because I know OTTERBOX is usually good for cellphone protection. I was not wrong , its great. The only issue is that it makes the cellphone size to look bigger which is not good for carrying purposes.

This thing just works. Saved several of our company phones from total peril. Took a phone out to put it in this case, and it looked like it had just come out of the box. It's worth the cost of admission.

Have had this case for almost 2 years..dropped it many many times and only now does it have a chip off 1 corner, but still enough protective material beneath that chipped layer

I recommend more padding on corners and more color options

The Defender protected my wife’s iPhone in a house fire. Destroyed the case, but the phone was still in perfect condition. Now my son uses the phone wrapped in a new Otterbox Defender.
