Being a female, my opinion may be skewed, but these are not the most attractive things to add to these beautiful phones. That being said, they are tough and because of their unique features, your expensive phone will be protected. Whether it be in a man's pocket with all of his change or in a holster on his hip, if it falls it's guaranteed not to shatter!

My son dropped his phone in the middle of the cross walk. Before he could grab it a car ran over it with its front and back tire. I thought the phone was ruined. To my surprise the IPhone was in perfect condition due to the case taking the it. We’ve been using Otter since I has the iPhone 3 and will continue to but for all our devices.

My wife and I jumped from an iPhone 5 to an 8 plus.The bust buy team were very knowledgeable about the product and we are very happy beat buy customers.They call them self Best Buy but they are also best customer service and aftercare

This case is made of hard plastic. Hope it protects my 800$ phone when it slides off the counter. Liked my soft cover I had on my older iPhone.

I absolutely love this case I work in contruction and I trust the otter box more than anything

For some reason the outer case started falling apart after a month. Then continued to get worse. I started a claim with OtterBox but never got a response back from them. I would stay away from the purple one. I have a black one for another phone and it held up strong.

Love the color, not too bold and not too dull. I can still easily locate my phone in my bag since it is anything but black. I only use Otterbox Defender series for my digital devices because my devices is 100% protected. I love that it comes with a built-in screen protector - 360 degrees protection so I never had to buy a new case until I change phones. Worth the price.

I bought this case in 2017 and it has lasted on it so good. I accidentally drop my phone on a daily basis and if it weren't for this case, my phone would be nonexistent. I am purchasing again soon! The color is so cute too.

Well maybe not literally, but my brand new phone (apple8) was pretty important. I was helping my husband work on our Jeep and sat my phone on top of the side panel in the back. Well we got back in and started off. We got back on the main paved road and he gassed it. All of the sudden we hear a crash sound....right then I knew what it was and that I was doomed. We backed up and started the search. I was looking for pieces, we were going over 35mph, no way it survived, right? Phone found upside down, one piece. But we all know iPhones and there screen cracking reputation, I turned it over and said “no way...it’s still alive and not broken. This OtterBox is amazing. $55 bucks save $850 that day from becoming road kill!

I’ve tried them all, from $5 eBay specials made overseas, to other brands that cost more than the Defender at my local cell phone retailers, but the Defender is still a winner after all these years. This is my third and it’s still the only option for rock-solid protection that I can trust. I’m full-time law enforcement and part-time firefighter, in my spare time I’m usually doing something crazy involving woods or mountains, and the Defender is the only case I trust to protect my phone during any activity.

My last phone stopped functioning and I upgraded. Therefore, I needed to change my Outer Box. I am so glad I was able to find one in the store. One cannot go wrong with an Outer Box purchase. Very well manufactured, rugged and functional. It wasn't cheaper like my previous due to I was able to use 25% off three accessories @ that time. Only con is that it comes with it's own protective screen and it does stick or require you to press harder. I may have to remove this screen to alleviate sudden key stroke inactivity momentarily. A must have for everyone.

I have had an iPhone since the original came out and everyone always talked about otterboxes being good. I never buy into spending $70 dollars for a case but after a few years tried it since the other cases kept breaking. Now it’s all I buy. I’ve dropped my phone at least 15 feet with this and had no damage other than scuffs to the rubber. I recommend these cases if you work in any situation that your phone gets banged up. After 3 years I’ve traded in phones that still look brand new with these cases.

The Otterbox defender is the perfect case for protecting your device. After spending $1,032 on my phone, the last thing i wanted to do is drop another $55 on a case. I’d been scouting this case for months and caught it on sale. It offers protection all around and i no longer have to worry about drops or scratches. It does add some bulk to the phone but it’s the best case I’ve ever owned. 100% satisfied

Otterbox is the best protection (IMHO) you can buy for your cell phone if you have a tendency to drop or bump your phone like I do. I have been using Otterbox to protect my cell phones for more than 5 years and never had a problem with phone breakage. I admit that I'm pretty rough on my phones and did manage to break the belt clip (twice) and Otterbox replaced it both times without question.

Must get this case if you care about your iphone. I've dropped my phone so many times with this case on and it doesn't faze it. Always trust Otterbox, never let me down and will continue to purchase this brand. Very reliable!! Excellent quality!

Awesome product must buy Christmas isn’t too far!!

I haven’t had this particular phone case for long but it’s certainly not my first OtterBox case. It seems to me, however, that they’ve improved since my last one in terms of the screen protection and how much it would interfere with your touchscreen! I’m barely touching my screen (through the protection of the case, obviously) and I have absolutely no trouble! I haven’t dropped the iPhone 8 Plus that this case is protecting and, for obvious reasons, I have NO intention of attempting to do so simply to test exactly how much protection this case actually provides in that particular aspect but...should such an incident happen by accident at some point in the future I will either update this review, if that’s possible, or write a new one if necessary. I don’t expect that OtterBox would have improved their touchscreen performance and downgraded the performance of the physical protection of their cases, though, so I’m guessing that I’ll find it to be adequate or improved from past products. As long as I don’t smash my phone, screen first, into the corner of a table, I’m thinking this should hold up just perfectly. LOL

The Otter cellphone case is overall the best case for safeguarding your expensive apple cellphone. My cell was dropped quite a few times and was never damaged. My daughter had another case and when she dropped it, her screen cracked costing me $250.00 deductible. I brought her an Otter case! Case closed!!

A little on the bulky side compared to others out there. But it’s worth it to protect your phone. I’m very careless and always dropping my phone and I never had one break on me while in this case. I’ve been using a otter box defender series since my iPhone 4 and I would not change. Very satisfied with this.
