this defender series is virtually indestructible. I dropped it from 15 feet and no damage to my phone. I was relieved. So glad I bought this.

bought this to protect my iPhone 5 from accidental drops, and my phone has survived a number of drops with no shattered/cracked screen thanks to this case!

I have purchased Otterbox Defenders for all my Apple devices and have been nothing but pleased. Very great product. I first purchased the Otterbox Defender for my iPhone 3 back 4 years or so ago and have been purchasing them ever since for each iPhone that has came out. They have improved since the new design change a year or so ago. Can't say enough good about this product, works for me and is a great company to work with.

This case has protected my iPhone 5s from many falls and drops. I can protect my iPhone from drops and also use the Touch ID.

This case is really slim, protective and sleek. I have'd the white one for 2 years now and is still white.

Otter Box was recommended by a family member and after reading about it on-line it was the only case brand I considered when we bought our iphone 5's. I like that it came with a clip on holster that also serves as a stand. the water resistant construction with covers over the ringer switch, headphone jack and charging port gives peace of mind when water is splashed near phone but the covers are a pain to lift open every time I want to access them. The rubber outside shell tends to have a lot of friction when I slip it in and out of my pocket. In retrospect, the Commuter model may have suited my normal everday use better but it is nice to have the extra protection when I take it to the beach or other outdoor activities.

the otterbox brand is amazing. i don't know how many times its saved my phone cuz i never take my phone out of the case.

This case holds up to wear and tear. I dropped my phone many times and it was perfectly fine. Case does start to become flimsy and droopy around the back.

It's bulky, but tough enough to protect a phone from drops and scratches. I like that it has its own screen protector.

I have always been a fan of the Otterbox Defender. Have had it on every iPhone I've owned from a 3gs to a 5s. However, the new change in design has caused the case to be almost useless. The home button is no longer covered by the rubber outside so dirt just slides right in. Immediately after cleaning and putting on the case it feels right up with dirt. Have to say I am very disappointing and am more then likely done with Otterbox.

bough it for my kids phone. he drops it all the time and has never damaged the screen.
