I used to just play music on my phone's speaker so I could hear surrounding noise. Now I get much better sound and can still hear approaching cars and people while music is playing. Volume buttons are nice for fine tuning how much ambient noise vs music you hear. Sound is even better with earplugs in if you just want to hear music. Great for yardwork too.

I had one on my original Pixel and it was perfect, so when I got my Pixel 3 I got an OtterBox. The only thing this one is missing is the built in screen protector. If it has the screen protector I would give 5 stars.
