I bought this as a present for my husband. He loves how durable it is.

Very reliable and durable. Living up to its otter box brand.

I plan to only use this when partaking in risky adventures... If it were watetproof I would rate it higher in value, usefulness and durability.

I would not purchase again. Instead, if get a cheaper version and buy a separate screen protector.

The case for the phone seems well built and durable, with an attractive appearance. The holster is terrible (my wife told me not to use profanity when describing it) If you are at all active it keeps falling of your belt. This happens getting in and out of the car, when you sit, or squat. I spend and awful amount of time readjusting it. It is also too high to my waist when attached to the belt, causing it to dig into my side. For forty dollars I would not expect to have these problems. Because of the holster I would not recommend this product, it makes the phone very hard to deal with. I am also told that the clip breaks off al lot.

Bought for my husband and on his second day of putting it his belt the clip snapped and broke. So not worth the money!

I bought this for my daughter since she had already dropped her phone and had a small crack in the screen - her previous case was supposed to protect it, but didn't do the job. She didn't have the money to buy this model when she bought the phone, so she is regretting it now! This covers much better and has a softer inner part that is much better at keeping the phone protected. Hope she doesn't really have to test it too much, but I have seen students drop and throw their phones with an Otterbox case and they are fine afterward.

The case is very well made and very durable. If you don't have a screen protector on the phone this has one built in. I had a zagg screen protector on my phone and it always looked like it had something in between the phone and the otterbox protector. Of course there was nothing there. It can be annoying but I learned to live with it.

Tried this case out to add some protection to the Note 2. This case is very well built and offers maximum protection. Issue is that this makes the phone very very bulky and uncomfortable to hold. Also adds weight to the phone. I want a decent level of protection but not at the cost of making the phone ugly and uncomfortable. Whats the point of buying a slim good looking phone only to hide it in a huge case? I can understand people who work in rough environments etc would need ths protection but not me. Also the plastic screen protector is a horrible design. It leaves an air gap between the screen and the protector which makes touch un-responsive and also traps dust etc. One easy fix is to peel out the protector - clean up the glue and use the phone with a different screen protector. That solves the plastic protector issue while still providing excellent protection. But bad design by Otterbox - especially for a $60 case. I returned this and replaced with the Platinum series case. Have posted a review for that as well.

This case definitely protects my cell. It is sturdy and still makes the phone look good. Excellent quality!

I did not like it with the phone, made it too bulky, otherwise I am sure it will protect the phone.

I recently purchased this case and noticed that things are getting under the screen protector. when you have a 5.5" touchscreen that isnt something you want to happen. The case itself is great but the screen protector ruined it for me
