I have been using the Defender Otter Box covers for years, and I can tell you that’s the best protection money can buy. I am upset because you don’t get the screen protector with it, but you can’t beat its protection.

The case is bulky, but it serves it's purpose. It definitely protects my husband's phone from drops. He accidentally dropped it out of the car and the case took all of the shock. Absolutely no damages to the phone.

I have had many versions of this css in the past and love them all. I am kind of disappointed that Otter box did not include any screen protection in this model even though the pricing has remained on the high end. It is one of the most durable cases I have owned for my cell phone.

Does what it's supposed to. Great protection. I like that it doesn't have a plastic screen protector built in. It's obviously adds bulk but, you expect that tradeoff with this level of protection.

You can't beat OtterBox for protection for your expensive cell phone. OtterBox covers secures and protects your phone completely. Makes phone a little bulkey. But that is the price of protection.

Easy to put on my new phone and fits like a glove. On the heavy duty side but I am hard on my phones and need the extra protection. Only drawback is having to buy a screen shield as well.

I wanted to protect my new Note 8 with a solid case that also included a belt clip. The Defender was the best choice. I can also fast charge through the case, when it's lying flat.

Bought this case for my phone last Friday, and it should do the trick for my clumsy self. I didn't see myself using the belt clip feature, but I have actually found it very useful and adds extra protection to the screen should I (when I) drop it. Only downfall I can think of is that it can be a bit bulky when using the belt clip, but still not terrible.

I've always bought Defender Otterboxes for all of my smartphones. I like the dual layers, makes me feel like my phone is protected. However, I hate that there's no screen protector built in anymore. I know the beveled edges probably made design for that hard, but I feel like the price should have reflected the change in design. Without the screen protector I feel like $60 is too steep. Next time around I'll probably just get a similar case with dual layers for half the price. Especially when a decent screen protector for this phone is $50.

This was purchased for my wife's galaxy note 8. So far it's still been the usual dependability of otter box protection, unfortunately they don't offer a model that encased the entire phone for the note 8 so no screen protection.

this otter box is less bulky then some of the older cases. Phone still fits in your back pocket with the case on. Like that it came in a color besides black.

I have been using OtterBox defenders for almost 10 years, and they do exactly what they need to do. I just hate that they removed the built in screen protector. I guess this omission is the result of curved, glass screens.

I've had cell phones since they first came with a shoulder bag. normally use a belt holster. My last holster failed, started putting phone in pocket, lasted about 10 weeks. New phone, so I tried the Otter Box. The Best Buy salesman installed it, looked a little difficult, really not, do not be intimidated. If it is going to stay on, it has to be tough to put on. I put it horizontal on my belt. I'm in and out of the car many times a day, and after 2 weeks, the back piece broke,I caught it on car seat side,or should have mounted vertical. called OtterBox, and they sent me a new one. I suspect the next will someday break. I think I will by another, so I have 2. I feel it really protects my phone, If I have 2, I'll have a spare while they send a replacement!

You can always trust an Otter Box to protect your phone. I have always purchased the Otter Box for all my phones since they first came out and they are the best. Only wish they still included the screen protector.

I got the new Galaxy Note 8 and absolutely love the way the case fits this phone. It doesn't make it look bulky or any bigger then it needs to be.

If your looking to protect your investment in your phone look no farther, you found what your looking for, good protection and not a lot of bulk

Great product, fits well on Sprint's Samsung Note 8. Highly recommend to protect phone from scratches or breaking from being dropped.

I've had an Otter Box case for my old Note2 for several years. That unit is still looking great, so the new phone went immediately into its own Otter Box. The new cases are thinner and slightly more rigid than the older models. While the case's sides are lower to handle the Note8's curved screen, the case's top and bottom extend slightly upward to keep some screen clearance when the phone is face down. The case allows ready access to all the ports and scribe. It even makes finding the fingerprint sensor easier!

I've always used Otterbox on my phones. Either the Defender or Commuter line. I chose the Defender for my Note 8 and seems to be really good protection for the entire phone. Fit is perfect. I've already dropped it several times without issues. It's bulky and takes away from the phone but at least I don't have to worry about it breaking.

I love OTTERBOX, but they stopped the screen cover. The phone protection is perfect but you will have to by a seperate screen protector. OTTERBOX, wussup with the SAME PRICE, LESS COVERAGE.
