Have used Otterboxes for years. Never had an issue. Feel at ease knowing that Note 8 is protected from drops. A bonus is knowing that Otterbox customer service is there if they are needed. I will purchase another Otter in the future with no hesitation.

Good, sturdy case as with all Defender series. Only complaint is the lack of screen protections due to curved screen. Maybe future models mad find design to accommodate as I am always active and dropping phone. Case for Note 5 saved my phone numerous times. Will see what happens the first time this falls of my bike at 20 mph.

I have always an OtterBox Defender on my iPhones and iPads, with excellent results. I was a little concerned that the case for my new Samsung Galaxy Note 8 did not have a screen protector, but there have been no problems at all thus far.

This is an excellent case. I have dropped my phone at least 3 times and the screen has cracked. The case also has no cracks or breaks.

I always prefer otter box for maximum protection, I like the rubber outer shell and the phone isn’t too bulky with it on. My only complaint is the flaps at the bottom that cover the ports are hard to get up with short nails

After investing $$$ in my Samsung Galaxy Note8, I wanted to give it maximum protection. That meant buying an Otterbox case. The case is carefully designed so it doesn't reduce the screen's viewing space. It feels "solid"... it fits the Note8 snugly and securely. Openings in the case (for the headphone jack and the charging connection) and buttons on the case (for volume and on/off) are perfectly aligned. I plan to keep my $$$ Note8 for a long time, and I'm sure the Otterbox will last just as long..

This case is what you would expect from an otterbox, it doesn't have the plastic screen cover that other models do, which is nice, the plastic always got in the way for me. The only down side is, the phone and screen is so big and open now I don't feel like a small drop would protect the screen much.

Used an OtterBox on my Note5 and it saved my phone several times at work when I dropped it. I like the feel and the grip of the case on my phone. I tried my Note8 for 2 days without the case while the Zagg screen cover was trying and the phone just felt too small and too slippery. I was afraid I would drop it. I felt so relaxed and relieved when I put the the OtterBox case on. I do drop things and the OtterBox saved my phone in the past. The belt clip and case make me feel confident my new note8 is safe.

This case is made of quality materials that protect your phone. Available in various sizes for different phones. Easy to put on and it stays on- unless you manually take it off. This product is the best, most durable case I have ever owned. Used to break many a phone when it was dropped- it's now a thing of the past since this case will protect your device from just about every trauma (except perhaps driving over it- not willing to test that one out)!!! Highly recommend

OtterBox has changed their case to not include the screen protector, so it’s required to get a separate on your own. I think it’s due to the Note 8 having the curved screen. Still protects very well, just don’t drop it face down.

I honestly think that otterbox is one of the best cases, these case is excellent for construction workers as i am one, the only bad thing is that there's no screen protector in it after that i do recommend it

Fits like a glove. I will not pay the money for a life long case again, you have to retain the code in order to get them to replace it. OtterBox has never given me any trouble with the 2 cases that failed

I bought this for my new phone. My old phone broke because I could not find a case for it. The case has been wonderful thus far. I have only dropped my phone once and the case protected it completely.

I have used Otterbox cases for my last 5 phones and both my IPad and IPad mini. I want to know that if and when I drop these items, they are protected (to a point). I definitely wanted on for my Note 8.

With the phone being made of glass it can become slippery and glass is brittle when dropped. This prevents drops and if you are to drop it, it will never shatter with how much protection this case provides. It also comes with a flip that functions as a prop to watch videos

This is a great purchase to protect your phone I have had the defender case on my last three purchases of my phones and not one has broken on the outside only from old age the phone still looked new

Pros: Case offers the highest level of protection. Considering the amount you are paying for phones these days, this case will offer you that additional insurance. Cons: Case is bulky and stiff. It is difficult to open the flaps for charging or plugging in headphones.
