Otter boxes are designed to prevent damage to the phone when accidentally dropped or mishandled. This case does the job well, like all otter boxes. It's pricey and I wish it came cheaper without the belt clip since NO ONE uses those these days, but still a great case.

I have one time bought one for a phone long time ago. And, I have put all of the otter box protectors I have owned but this phone protector through the ringer. All of what I have owned have yet to let me down. There have been times I would have accepted that there was going to be damage and was happily surprised to find that otter box really do make the toughest phone protector out there.

Does exactly what it is supposed to do. Bought for my son who drops his phone.

The OtterBox Defender Series offers the upmost in protection if you happen to be hard on your phone. I was looking for a case that I can clip to my belt, so this model satisfies that reqiuirement. It is however, bulkier than the other models.
