I’ve been a loyal Otterbox Defender and Symmatry user for quite a while, but this case was too bulky and took away from the overall elegance of the Samsung phone. The curved edges of the phone don’t blend well with the case. I don’t doubt the quality protection of the case itself, but the end result was too bulky and chunky for my liking.

Very happy n content with my purchase. Just upgraded from a s8 phone with a cheap case to a s9 and I knew I wanted to get a better case. Happen to be at the right place at the right time. Picked up this otterbox case for 14$ and have been extremely happy since then. Fits my phone like a glove.

I bought this for my brother as a birthday gift. He is horrible about keeping his phone in good condition. Always dropping it and cracking the screen. Once he has been using this, he has indeed dropped his phone, but nothing has happened. A life saver and most importantly a money saver!

I'm a chronic cell-phone dropper, and Otterbox has saved my phones multiple times over the years. The cases do a great job protecting my phone despite my occasional carelessness. I will always have an Otterbox for my smartphones; it's the best insurance for smartphones and a very good investment.

So I was a little unsure of the bevel on the phone and how well a case that doesn't cover that bevel would work. I accidentally dropped my phone the other day and all is well! I bought the tempered glass too and that popped off when it hit the ground but the phone is still perfect!

This was bought to replace the exact same case after my phone fell close to 100 feet down an elevator shaft. Phone still works great, the glass cover on back is all that was damaged other than case. I have used Otterbox Defender for every smartphone I have had for a reason. They work.

I researched options for my new smartphone and otterbox stood out as a reliable case. I really like the way it allows my buttons to use the case's external button openings flawlessly. The covers on the open ports in the bottom are a nice feature although they can be tough to open initially.

Great protection for our phones. Wish screen protector was still a build in feature.

I was hesitant at first about purchasing the newer, slimmer Otterbox Defender case, without a screen protector. However, I'm glad I made this purchase and would highly recommend this newer design to anyone who is on the fence about what case to buy for their Samsung Galaxy S9.

this is a good product but I give it three out of five stars for the fact it only protects 50% of your phone and if you want 100% protection you have to buy additional glass screen protector. it protects the sides and back but if it lands on the front of your phone where the main screen is it will break that's what happened to my phone and I called the manufacturer up that made this case and they told me that the case is designed for glass screen protectors they felt bad and gave me a discount for a screen glass protector that they sell. so when you buy this product you only got 50% protection but you have to combined it with a glass screen protector for 100% protection but overall it's still a great case

I upgraded from the S7 and had an otterbox case on that as well. It was thicker. This one is sleek and slender compared to my old phone. Easy to use. Wish it covered the screen,but would be difficult because of the shape.

A good tough case that seems like it will protect well, but it's thick and heavy.

The otter display case for my Samsung galaxy S5 cellphone was one of my best investments! I have dropped my phone numerous times on concrete and have never experienced the least amount of damage.

I was initially concerned that the case does not include any screen protection, but I've come to see at as a major plus for my Galaxy S9. The case is designed to provide fantastic protection for the phone. This will be my go-to case design for any phone I own!

I would highly recommend this defender case because I have been using them for several years and have dropped my phone several times and defender case always protected my phone. Never had a issue the the defender case. Best protection for your phone you can buy.

As other Otterbox Defender cases in the past, this case provides great protection. Some reviews claim that it doesn't fit but I think they misunderstood that the hard plastic inner case comes apart and the bottom of the back piece has to be put on first.

Offers the protection i need. And not too bulky to fit in the pocket.

I picked this case for the color and for the protection. I wanted my phone really protected when in my handbag. I also put it in a large wallet type case. It makes the phone a little bigger but worth the protection.

I bet i can throw this under my dads semi truck and this cover wouldnt show a dent. Great shock proof from rubber and plastic exoskeleton. Only issue is the complexity to put it on if your new to it. Aswell with removing the dust covers for ports.
