Yes, I used to drop and break my phone. The Otter Box is extreme drop protection. A great company that has no problem replacing it, if gets stretched out. It's saved my phone on every drop!

The case is OK if you need good protection. The problem with rubber cover. For some reason it started to lose shape in the corners. Better quality material compare to 4 years ago, but still the same problem.

My only concern is with the curved edge of the S9 and the otterbox design to utilize the phone's curve, it is possible to drop the phone on it face and it could break with direct impact. On other models the glass from the phone is protected by being below the edge of the case.

Bought this for my father in laws new phone , it withstands a lot as he does a lot of jobs that could put his phone in a terrible situation and it holds up . These things are KEEPERS

Great case its built really well and very durable however I did not like having to spend another $50 for front glass protector. Didn't realize until I was home that there was no front protection, every other defender case I've purchased was fully enclosed.

I have had several different types of belt holders. The belt clip broke on most of them. The only one that didn't began spinning freely to the point where I had to make hand made mods. The belt holster for the S9 heavy duty and seems to hold up well so far.

Love the otter box with it on my phone I'm not afraid of it being dropped or knocked off my toolbox at all it has been dropped a couple times and no damage to the phone

I purchased the Outterbox as a gift to go with Samsung phone. I personally prefer insurance coverage so I can enjoy my phone without making it bulky. It is however a good product, as I purchased Outterboxs for my children’s iPad minis. Great after 4 years!

glad I bought this,was having a hard time figuring out what to get for christmas.then I ran across this and boom ,it works like a charm.

Picture directions in box were useless. Ended up calling Otterbox for help and they were great. Love the case and easily was able to add an appropriate screen cover.

I had an Otter box for my S4 mini, so this was my first choice for my S9. You'll have to get a screen protector, but very pleased with this case. Rugged and looks great.

I always had great luck with otterbox with every phone I had and when I got a new phone I had to get one. The new cases have slimmed down but are still rugged.

I had an Otter Box on my last Galaxy (S5). Four years and not a scratch on it. I expect this one to protect my new Galaxy just as well. It seems like it will!

Love the durability and function of this case. I have had Otterbox brand before and they are awesome on warranty replacements, so I will stick with them.

I wanted a phone case that protect me from drops. And that wouldn't fall out when doing something. This case also works with the wireless charger easy to use.

I have dropped my phone at least five times since i purchased this case. I am a heavy equiptment operator and my phone is subjected to daily abuse. Flawless!!

I know they say it's hard to make a case now for the curved edge phones, but seems as if a case is almost pointless if you can't protect the screen from getting scratched and cracked.

This case fits perfect on the S9.. almost like it was made for it. Who knew haha. There is no screen protector but I don't really think it needs it either.

The snap sound when the phone is secured in the case, is very helpful. I have had this case before, and I really liked it then, and I like this one now.

So far so good! I would buy it again although I am not a fan of the covering where you plug in the charger, I think that will fall off sometime soon.
