This case is very protective, and has a nice high raised lip to help protect the screen in case of a drop face down. It is a little bulky, but for the protection it offers, it is worth it.

This case really protects my phone. I needed a case that has a belt clip and now this clip can be used to hold your phone up on a flat surface so you can watch videos hands free.

Have used otterbox defender cases for all my phones. They provide superb protection against falls and scratches. For this iPhone XR model it doesn't Include the built in screen protection like other past models. Had to purchase separate screen protector. Reason for 4 of 5 stars. Everything else is good

This thing is like a tank. Easy to hold and totally covers and protects phone. Extended lip adds protection in case of a drop. Spending the extra for this case is well worth it.

I bought this ship my daughter will not destroy her new phone. Otterbox has always been excellent cases and thus one did not disappoint. 1 month down and is doing its job.

At the recommendation of a Best Buy employee and knowing we have always been pleased with Otterbox. New cases do not have plastic to cover screen but does have rubber edges.

Protects the phone and is easy to use and charge with the case on the phone. The belt carrier for it is also very easy to use and keeps the phone available and protected.

These boxes protected the phones but were a little difficulty using the phone while xase was on.

It makes the phone a little bulkier, but the protection it gives makes it more than worth it. It protects me from the damage my occasional clumsiness would cause.

Love my otter box cover. Feels good in you hand and doesn’t slip on smooth surface. Needed to get a screen protection as it didn’t have one. The clip can be used to cover the screen when you not using the phone. Or clip it on the back and you can stand up your phone but it wil cover up the rear camera.

Very happy with the protection that the OtterBox provides for my iPhone. Easy to install and remove, as needed.

Perfect case for my new iPhone. Doesn't have the built in screen protection like my old case, but that was easily remedied with safety glass which looks better anyway.

Was a little worried it would be to bulky but keeps my phone safe and does not interfere with any of my phone operations. Very happy with purchase and protection

This is the best I phone protector the than they don't have the screen protector I don't know why they remove it

I have used all the otter boxes they make and have found the defender is by far the best. It protects the entire phone better, feels better, and is solid protection.

This is the 3rd otter box I’ve purchased. It’s a great product that works. It may cost a bit more but it’s cheaper than getting a new phone!!

The Otterbox cases are not the cheapest on the market - for good reason. You really get what you pay for with phone cases - and this one has saved my XR from cracking/breaking countless times in the time I've owned it. It's sturdy, offers great protection, and doesn't interfere with plugging the charging cord in. It does add to the phone's overall size, and some will probably balk at the extra bulk when carrying in a pocket, but based on the cost of a new phone, it's an easy inconvenience to overcome. Highly recommend.

Otterbox pretty much nailed it with this case. I love that you get the durable construction of the Defender and ability to use your own screen shield. The charging port and sound switch are covered. Camera is nicely recessed to avoid scratches. Even with all the protection, it still allows wireless charging! The only negative is that I do wish Otterbox still offered the thin material over the speaker openings to keep out dust, lint, and other minor debris. Very solid case that will keep my phone safe from drops during runs or bike rides. Highly recommend!
