I am very disappointed that for the price I paid that it is not waterproof. I am looking at the Lifelock series because I know they work and are cost less than the Otterbox

The front of the case is open, not enclosed. It is a good case otherwise. I would recommend it if you don't want the front covered. It is a solid case and easy to install.

Our Defender Series cases for many of these new devices don't come with an included screen protector, as the displays on these new phones tend to perform best without the addition of a built-in screen protector. That being said, your case is totally compatible with Alpha Glass and Amplify, both of which provide much greater touch reactivity than we could get with a built-in screen protector. Screenless edition is dumb

But there. Was no screen protector with this one. Disappointed and wasted time to go pick up the item and then also had to make a second trip to return it. Bought a separate screen protector from online and also awesome Spigen case with kick stand. All for less than the cost of this screen protector.

He purchased this Otterbox to avoid future damage. We have always used holster phone cases with a front and back - you can find relatively inexpensive ones on Amazon. He decided however, to give this pricey Otterbox a try. He is already regretting this choice...it just makes an already larger phone too clunky. We'll be replacing this with our inexpensive Amazon alternative in the near future.

This case is specifically designed with multiple layers in order to ensure the best phone protection possible. While the thicker style might initially feel a little larger than life, you can rest assured that your husband’s phone should stay safe and secure for a long time to come!
